This type of car is excellent for everybody. I like the way it performs in the street. Has a very good engine and has all the extras you could have. It is an automatic transmission SUV so you can take it almost wherever you want because of its power. It is so spacious and comfortable. The seats are cover in leather and the dash is very well designed. The brand's quality is something I trust very much. I cannot think about something I dislike about the car because everything it has is perfect for my requirements. The fuel perform could be better.
Story
I do not have fun stories but happy ones. Always I go out in the car with the family, the car works great and we spend a great quality time together so that makes me happy.
Pros
It has automatic transmission so you do not have to worry about doing shifts every single moment. The car seats works electronically so you can move them towards the back or the front very smooth and easy. The front seats have a heater system so if it is to cold you can turn this feature on and the seats will start to warm you. The engine's power and the car size give you the possibility of carry boats, or cars or other kind of trailer.
Cons
Probably the thing I do not like that much about the car is the performance it has with the fuel. It's not that cheap to have a fuel tank always. The exterior paint quality was not that good. It has to be repainted in around five years depending of the weather where you live. Some accessories and parts are quite expensive so you must have additional budget if something happens. It is too difficult to change, replace or fix something inside the engine. It does not have very much space under the cap so you must take off a lot of parts in order to reach what you are looking to fix but you d... (more)

When I purchased my Pathfinder I was looking for a family size vehicle but not your normal "grocery getter". I liked that it already had an overhead DVD Player installed and that it was a 4X4 vehicle. The engine is a good size and boasts good miles per gallon. The interior is comfortable and of good quality, I really like the sun/moon roof and the roof rack. The ability to transport 7-8 people if needed was appealing also. The 5 disc stereo with Bose speakers is very nice and has GPS.
Story
Our family loves camping and driving trails. We have taken it camping and really enjoy being able to drive through the rock and rivers to our favorite spot to set up camp.
Pros
4X4 Off-road capability, sunroof, leather interior, overhead DVD player, roomy, 3rd row seating, storage space. Integrated GPS, 5 disc changer with Bose speakers.
Cons
Transmission is prone to failure and is not being covered by a recall even though its a known problem. Too much plastic on the exterior. There is practically no aftermarket 4X4 support. Under carriage is deteriorating at an unappealing pace. MPG is not nearly what's advertised. The price to update the GPS is outrageous. The stereo does not have the ability to ad an auxiliary device such as an MP3 player or smart phone.

The vehicle is great, we love it. We have been a Nissan family for years. This is our 5th Nissan, first Pathfinder. The car is very spacious without being too big. We have a family with teenagers and travel a lot for sporting events. This vehicle is wonderful. Everyone rides comfortably and we are able to carry all needed equipment without any problems. The parking assist and backup camera is one of my favorite and most used feature! I absolutely LOVE it! I never realized how helpful and useful that particular feature could be. Another wonderful feature is that the car will not lock if the keyless key is left in the car. That has saved me so many times from locking my keys in the car. This is a great family vehicle.
Story
I love the space in this vehicle. Last Thanksgiving me, my mother, two sisters, and daughter-in-law were all able to comfortably fit in the car and head out for Black Friday shopping. It was wonderful to be able to all take one vehicle together and still have enough room for all the great deals we picked up too!
Pros
I absolutely Love the interior space the vehicle offers. We have plenty of space for family members to ride comfortably. The vehicle is big without being too big. The turn radius is exceptional. A favorite feature for the backseat passengers is the backseat heated seats and the ability to control their own air temperature. It is also very easy for the third row passengers to get in and out. The third row is very comfortable for an adult passenger, its full size. Not many third row SUV's have a full size third row. They are more built for children. Not the case with the pathfinder. My 6' te... (more)
Cons
There are not many negative things I can think of about this vehicle. We have only had our pathfinder for 13 months. So far we have been very happy with the vehicle. My main negative complaint of the vehicle is in the design of the body. I am a short person and with my seat all the way raised there are times I have trouble parking or making sharp turns because I cannot see all the way over the hood. With the seat completely raised the driver is still sitting pretty low. We did have our drivers side visor break within a few months of owning the vehicle. We were probably just unlucky and got...
