This is an amazing vehicle. I highly recommend the Nissan pathfinder. I bought mine brand new in 2009 and have had no problems with it. I always have had to do the typical change your breaks, oil, and tired, but nothing really major. It is a great family vehicle. lots of room for the kids and a major amount of trunk space. If you are a family that is always on the go or even a sports family this is a perfect car for you. The gas mileage for this car is great too. I can fill my tank up and it lasts me for the week even with all of my traveling with my kids. This vehicle has almost 200,000 miles on it and I am still in disbelief that it hasn't had anything major wrong with it. I would say the only con that I really have with my car specifically is that there is a paint issue with it. A l... (more)
Story
I remember my family and I had went on a family road trip. We live in Pennsylvania and we were traveling to Maryland. It was a great car ride with all three of my kids. We were able to separate them all and eliminate the arguing.
Pros
The space was a major pro for this car. I also really love the remote started that came with my car. It makes things so much easier on a cold winter day or even a hot summer day.
Cons
My top con about this car was the paint issue that I was having with it.

The vehicle is solid, starts every time you turn the key, and gives you plenty of power. It is surprisingly good in the snow for being a rear wheel drive SUV. With 100,000+ miles, I have full confidence it could drive across the country and back with no issues. My biggest dislike is the distribution of the climate control. The two back vents don't produce enough air to keep the back cool enough in the summer and warm enough in the summer.
Story
We were visiting a family graveyard that happens to be on the other side of a creek. We were the only vehicle that wasn't a 4x4 but we made it through without any problems.
Pros
My favorite feature is the vehicle's reliability. It is also an easy vehicle to do your own maintenance on if you are handy with tools.
Cons
Insufficient air in the middle and back rows of the vehicle. The two vents have no air pressure. The vehicle could have more leg room in the second row.
