We purchased this vehicle to be our "big" family vehicle, as it has the possibility of a third row. We like that both car seats can fit in the second row, and a small adult can still fit between them. The front chairs are comfortable, and the ride is also fantastic. Our Pathfinder has really proven that it's a good, reliable car.
Story
We have very icy and snowy weather here, and this SUV combats it all. It hasn't met a hill or icy driveway it can't go up, which is amazing when trying to get in your driveway during winter.
Pros
I love that the car has an option for a third row. We use this frequently to transport our kids and dogs places. Also, we find the seats easy to maneuver in order to access all of the floor space when needed. The ride is super smooth, and this vehicle has never given us any issues in the time we have had it. The front seats of the Pathfinder are also very comfortable and are movable so that someone very short or very tall can fit into the vehicle comfortably.
Cons
It is not the best with gas mileage, but it is a bigger SUV, so that's to be expected.

I decided to buy the car because I needed something which could withstands the weather and terrain Libreville, Gabon (West Africa). I bought it in the US and used it there for about a period of three months with no major issues. Once in Gabon I had some minor problems with the transmission as well
Story
Wow. There are so many, but I think the most common and frequent one was when I took friends to the actual line at the Equator. The drive lasts between 5-7hrs because of the road conditions in Gabon, but it takes you through very nice and interesting sceneries. Nothing better to do this drive with a nice playlist and some friends with you. I think I did that drive more than 5 times, every time... (more)
Pros
The vehicle overall was comfortable, nice looking both inside and in the outside. It seemed both durable and efficient and totally in sync to what I was looking for and what I needed. I'm sorry if this sounds too general and not too much in detail, but I'm not an autophile.
Cons
My biggest complaint is that the car broke after 3-4 months overseas. The transmission gave up, even though I cared for it like if it was a baby. I don't know if this was a general problem with that particular model, bad luck, the strenuous factors of the terrain and weather or a combination of all these factors.
