I love the fact that I have had this truck for over 7 years now and I have never had not one problem with it. Besides taking it to get a oil change, new tires I have not had to do any maintenance on it. The only problem I would say that I have is the amount of gas the truck takes. Now a days to fill it up it cost about 80-90 dollars which is not fun since a lot of cars now a days barely cost 40 to fill up.
Story
I brought my daughter home from the hospital in this truck and I never felt the safest driving home in a truck that I knew was going to keep us safe. And it always had almost 7 years later.
Pros
Reliable, low maintenance, and safety. My favorite features would have to be the long bed with bed liner, the four doors and the incredible amount of space it gives to my children in the back seat.
Cons
Gas, gas and gas. Gas prices keep going up and up and it does not do well on the cost. I only drive around town so it is not that bad however, if you are driving long distance it could get pretty costly.

2006 Nissan Titan - Great truck on- and off-road.

The Nissan Titan isn't necessarily one of the top full-size trucks in the country, but in my experience, it performs just as well (if not better) than similar trucks from the big three American manufacturers. During my time with the truck, it has been used mostly for commuting and light-duty hauling (as most trucks usually really are used), but it has also seen its share of heavy-duty hauling and challenging off-road driving. It is perfectly capable in every situation, and I have NEVER caught myself thinking that I needed "more truck." Aside from the general performance, I have had low maintenance costs on this truck during my time with it. Aside from oil changes and basic upgrades over time (tires, brakes, etc.), I haven't had to spend time in and out of the shop like many other t... (more)
Story
I've had lots of memorable experiences in this truck, but one always stands out to me. I live in the mountains near a forest service boundary. There was a clear, cold night in the forecast in late August, and I had just purchased a new camera. My girlfriend and I made a spontaneous decision to load up the truck for an overnight trip about 25 minutes from the house to test the camera and sho... (more)
Pros
The Titan that I purchased is the King Cab LE 4x4. Among the pros that this truck is spec'd with are preinstalled bed liner, bed-mounted track system, leather seats, on-the-fly 4WD (high and low), Rockford Fosgate audio with auxiliary input, heated seats, heated mirrors, locking center console, tow package, power locks, power windows, power seats, and much more. There are probably plenty of pros that I'm forgetting at the moment. Aside from the standard options of that package, the previous owner installed Bilstein suspension, Toyo Open Country AT2 tires, an aftermarket radiator, and a ... (more)
Cons
When I first got the truck, there was a feature on the driver's seat that moved the seat backwards to allow more room when getting in or out of the truck. I'm a smaller guy, so that wasn't something that I needed, and I was afraid that feature would eventually wear out the motor in the seat. Fortunately, I found a simple trick online to disable that function (and if I ever choose to use that feature again, it's easy to restore). The truck had running boards on it when I purchased it, but I found them hanging up on large rocks while driving off-road. So I removed them... pretty easy, ab... (more)
