It's hard to talk briefly about the Cube. At first glance it looks like just another example of the "box" style, with creative (or try hard, if you prefer) window layouts. In fact, aside from the windows, the Cube would seem to be just another box on wheels, with nothing to recommend it over the competition. Driving (or just riding in) the cube is a whole different thing, however. For as small as it looks, it's almost jarring how much room there is when you sit down. It feels like everything is three feet away from you, but at the same time everything feels like it's right where you want it to be, from the convenient cupholder to the left of the gauge cluster, to the glowy orange HVAC controls. If you opt for the 6-speed manual transmission (and you should, OH how you should!), You'll... (more)
Story
In the months I've had the Cube, it's proven to be a fantastic beach trip car. The seats deal well with moisture, the cavernous door on the back makes a good start for a little base camp, and the huge windows make 4x45 air conditioning absolutely delightful. The reclining back seats also make for great naps on the ride home!
Pros
Fun! (If equipped with manual trans) Extremely roomy interior Decent aftermarket support
Cons
Not exactly fast... Mileage leaves something to be desired Quirky styling isn't for everyone

The Nissan Cube was my first ever vehicle. I had my eyes on this car for a while -- it's unique and it stands out, I didn't want a car that looked just like everyone else's. I really love my car. It's not perfect but its a great car for a person buying a car for the first time. It's easy to maneuver because of it's size, yet the interior is much larger than you'd think. I have helped several friends move with my cube! It also has perks like an iPod hook up and changeable decorative options for the interior. As much as I love my car, there are a few things I would change. Due to it's box-like design, it's not exactly aerodynamic. The wind can hit pretty hard because of this. There's also a bad blind spot since it's shaped like a box, it is a bit hard to see around the back corners of my... (more)
Pros
It's overall really easy to drive. I can park just about anywhere and my turning radius is fantastic. Many people who have driven my car say it is as easy as driving a golf cart.
Cons
It's not very aerodynamic and the blind spots are a bit frustrating when driving. I also wish it had leather heated seats.

Overall, the Nissan cube is a dependable car that has excellent fuel mileage. The shape of the cube is cute while letting there be a ton of interior head room and the ability to fit into small parking spaces with ease. We bought the car before kids and had two in three years - everyone fits in the car still which might not have been the case with many other cars on the market today.
Story
The great turn radius lets me zip into spots quickly and get out of tight areas.
Pros
Great leg room up front and plenty of head room in both the front and the back of the cube. With gas prices being so high in the past few years, the miles per gallon is excellent. The size makes it easy to fit into tiny parking spots which there are a lot of where I live, and you can fit two adults and two car seats easily and still have the back for strollers and groceries.
Cons
The thing I do not like the most about our cube is that there are no vents in the back seat on our model. This is an issue on hot days with two kids in the back seat. The cup holders are another issue on this model. They are very flimsy and we have broken most of them in our car over the past few years and have had to replace them. The A/C blower is also not the strongest, so even on high it can get very warm in the back part of the car.
