Decent car for a decent price.
Overall, I've generally been happy with the car. We've had it for, I believe, 50,000 miles at this point? For its size, it's surprisingly spacious. When we only had one kid, the three of us fit in comfortably with lots of spare room. I haven't yet had any issues with what's under the hood, which has been nice. And the gas mileage is pretty solid. It's a small tank of 13 gallons or so, but all of my jobs in the last six years have involved roughly 50-mile round trips each day, and I typically only have to top it off once a week. However, I've worked a lot in Baltimore, and this thing was not fun to ride over cobblestone streets. Speed bumps that are slightly bigger than normal can cause pain if approached too quickly. The other thing that Maryland weather has revealed about this car is that it should have been installed with mud flaps. Due to the tires kicking up snow or water, I've had part of the tailpipe rust through twice in the last three years. Lastly, this car is not great for driving in high winds. Because of the flat sides, it acts kind of like a sailboat and can be difficult to keep straight.

Fun little car
This car is a fun car to own. Very compact, yet because it is a box, it feels very roomy inside. In fact, there is more room between my head and the windshield than there is in my Toyota Sequoia. I purchased a manual transmission, and it is very peppy and easily revs in order to make a quick start at intersections or to pass on the highway. The build quality overall is good, but the rear door latch has gone out three times so far. On the highway with high crosswinds, the car easily drifts from side to side. People on the forums describe it as 'driving while cubed'.
