It's hard to talk briefly about the Cube. At first glance it looks like just another example of the "box" style, with creative (or try hard, if you prefer) window layouts. In fact, aside from the windows, the Cube would seem to be just another box on wheels, with nothing to recommend it over the competition. Driving (or just riding in) the cube is a whole different thing, however. For as small as it looks, it's almost jarring how much room there is when you sit down. It feels like everything is three feet away from you, but at the same time everything feels like it's right where you want it to be, from the convenient cupholder to the left of the gauge cluster, to the glowy orange HVAC controls. If you opt for the 6-speed manual transmission (and you should, OH how you should!), You'll... (more)
Story
In the months I've had the Cube, it's proven to be a fantastic beach trip car. The seats deal well with moisture, the cavernous door on the back makes a good start for a little base camp, and the huge windows make 4x45 air conditioning absolutely delightful. The reclining back seats also make for great naps on the ride home!
Pros
Fun! (If equipped with manual trans) Extremely roomy interior Decent aftermarket support
Cons
Not exactly fast... Mileage leaves something to be desired Quirky styling isn't for everyone

My Nissan Cube fits my needs better than any of the 10 cars I previously owned. It has all the room I like and need, but packed into a compact footprint. I love the quirky shape of it, and prefer having something a little different than the beige or grey everyone has one type vehicle!
Story
There is another person in the next town with the same car, making two of these in the whole county. Me and the other owner are often accused of being with other people and in other places, because our friends assume that it is that car so it must be that person!
Pros
It has plenty of headroom, and plenty of legroom. Which makes the ride seem more like a van. The height that you sit at in the car puts me a head above other regular cars, which gives great visibility when driving. The Cube has a very short turn ratio, letting me turn around in very little space. The storage space in the cube is plentiful and adjustable, because the rear seat slides forward or back, as well as the seatbacks flipping down. The gas mileage is very good, as I routinely get over 33 mpg. The car is very easy to clean in wintery weather, as the shape of the cube allows most snow... (more)
Cons
I really have no complaints about my Cube. I am not happy that they are no longer making them! I would definitely buy another!
