Pathfinder made to last
My 2002 Pathfinder is a family vehicle that became a work horse of sorts. Purchased used in 2005 as a family vehicle due to having our first child, this vehicle started out as our everything and everywhere ride. It has plenty of room for a car seat (or two or three!). The rear compartment is very spacious and has held everything from loads of family Christmas presents, groceries, large toys, to two yards of mulch and bags of cement. The car also comes with brackets on the roof and has carried several live Christmas trees from the store to home. As far as quality, after many years of daily driving, the body is showing some signs of wear, but at almost 200k miles, it has held up remarkably! IÕve only had to perform routine maintenance for the most part. The most significant mechanical issues were putting on new calipers when I swapped the brakes and rotors. This car has been quite a longevity vehicle.

Sturdy and Reliable
The Nissan Pathfinder that I have driven for the last 5 years is one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. The truck has a lot of space which makes it great for moving people as well as materials for fix up jobs around the house. On top of that the sturdy frame of the truck makes it very easy to haul heavy weight items. The four wheel drive system is one of the best I have used. The last 2 winters in the Northeast have been terrible but this truck handled them with no problem. While you won't mistake the ride of the truck for a luxury car it is a very comfortable experience. Overall the truck has not had major repairs other then regular maintenance. However, the parts for the truck can be very expensive even if the repair itself is not major. Another thing that is a negative is that the body of the truck around the wheels rusts quickly. The v6 engine provides a decent amount of power and acceleration for a truck this size. It's not great on gas but it's not terrible either. I have owned trucks that have gone through gas a lot faster. The motor compartment is very easy to work on as everything is compartmentalized and easily within reach of most tools.
