Mechanical Problems are a constant
This car performed decently at first, but it now it has tons of mechanical problems. I've never been in a car with this many problems in only ten years. It has also has almost no leg room so your passengers will not have be comfortable and the A/C in the back barely works (mine doesn't work at all anymore). There is so much rattling and loud noises this SUV makes and I've always taken care of it, so I do not know why it got so messed up. It also has an extra row of seats which could be convenient, but for me they are always a problem since I don't ever need to sit 7 people. And the leg room for the very back row is the absolute worst and most uncomfortable you can be in this SUV. It also sucks gas out like crazy giving me around 12-15mpg and I've always fed it super (premium) gas. I'm always afraid that my SUV will collapse as I drive and it has very limited room for comfort or to haul much cargo as the trunk has limited space when the back row seats are up (even when they are down it still does not have much space). Overall, I do not recommend this vehicle.

Where have you been all my life?
My Nissan Pathfinder has a body style that conveys confidence that it will take you anywhere you want to go. I have used my Pathfinder for weekend getaways at the beach. I truly enjoyed the roomy back area to put a mattress in while still having storage area to accommodate additional camping items. Utilizing the roof racks for my kayak and paddles, I smile all the way knowing my Pathfinder will get me to the next "put in". My Pathfinder doubles as my work truck, especially when I need to rent additional equipment, the towing package makes my job much easier. I found when I sat down to sign the paperwork that this Nissan is heavier than a passenger vehicle and carries with the registration a heftier cost than anticipated to register. My Nissan has proven to be a "gas hog". I love having the calculations available to me on the dash for "miles before empty" and "miles per gallon". Utilizing these I try to drive as economically as possible, but, my Pathfinder loves that octane. This vehicle has the ability to help me transport three rows of people while knowing they will all have a comfortable ride due to the acclimatized environment with independent controls. This Pathfinder found me, as I was looking for a more luxurious sedan when I was challenged to try it, and fell in love. Its name is now Darren and the family, to their dismay, plead for his keys with little luck. Overall Darren performs as I expect every time I climb in to search for my next adventure in this truly utilitarian SUV.
