2008 Nissan Altima Hybrid Owner Ratings & Reviews

2008 Nissan Altima Hybrid - Easiest, most economic car I've owned.
The car has good handling, gas mileage, and a comfortable interior. The car is easy to service, and easier to get serviced. No part for the car has cost either an armor or a leg. The features inside the car are basic but dependable, it comes standard with rear view backup camera. The car has good mirrors, and the AC is dependable. It seems sturdily built, though I've luckily not been in a collision. The electronics are dependable, even the hybrid battery portion. I paid roughly ~15,000.00 with financing and I was not left with buyers remorse. The tires have not been dependable, but I got it used with 40k miles and original tires so I couldn't complain really. The acceleration leaves a bit to be desired but it is by no means garbage, I've been in the Leaf and realize it is much more com... (more)
Story
I strap my Christmas trees each year to the roof and get home just fine, much to the chagrin of my girlfriend.
Pros
My favorite feature is that you can really cater to the hybrid engine and get the most out of the electric aspect. You can easily push the car to be far more fuel efficient than it would seem capable of being. Likewise, you can stomp the gas if you need to and it is capable of responding.
Cons
The engine can be confusing to deal with at first. The battery is in the back, rather than the front. It definitely does not have the best acceleration.
2008 Nissan Altima Hybrid - Great car
I like how much gas mileage this car gets. I also love that I can plug in my iPod or phone into car and play music or a podcast.
Story
My favorite moment in the car was driving it home on the parkway from the lot I bought it from. I felt so proud.
Pros
The car is extremely spacious. It also is a pleasure to drive. However, the best part of the car is the gas mileage.
Cons
The worst part about the car is that there is no Bluetooth for my devices. Also, sometimes the changing over from the gas engine to the electric engine isn't smooth.
