I leased a 2016 Nissan GT-R black edition on a whim. It was a gorgeous car, and I fell in love with it when I test drove it. Man, was it fast! It was so much stronger and quicker than my last car. The black trim was gorgeous as well. After about four months, I was having issues with the car though. The transmission felt extremely clunky or heavy. It was odd that there was no manual transmission for this car as well, compared to other supercars.
Story
I remember driving to the beach and eating ice cream while sitting on the hood of the car. It was at Myrtle Beach.
Pros
Many compliments from people while I was out driving. Fun to drive around. Extremely fast and tons of horsepower. A true supercar. More leg room in the driver's seat then I assumed it would have. Very pretty car. I am not married, so I was fine driving a car like this, and it's limited inside space.
Cons
Only two doors. Not much room in the back seat. Gas mileage was not as good as my last fuel economy car. Maintenance was extremely expensive since it is a sports car. Mechanics kept trying to up-sell me on things. Premium oil changes are the only ones I could use. Driving it over long periods of time on trips felt extremely uncomfortable as well. I could feel every bump on the road, and I was starting to get neck issues driving it around too much. Keeping it clean was a pain since it was black and everything showed on it.
