I still like my car since she do get me from A to B, and she has been very reliable up to this point, even though we had some hiccups on the way. And really that's what I can say about my car that I love. The reliability she has provided for me and anyone else she gave a ride for. When I needed her the most, she always turned over for me. When I didn't think it was possible, she surprised me and got me where I needed to be. That's why when something goes wrong with her. I try my hardest to get her fixed.
Story
Well, when I took a weekend road trip with some of my coworkers from work. We decided to head up North to a casino our friend told us about where she hit it big. So we figure we'll try our luck. While on the way there, I blew a tire (that's how I got the spare tire on the car now), so I had to pull over and try to figure out how to change a tire. None of us women knew nothing about changing a ... (more)
Pros
What really got my attention about the car was it was economic compact size vehicle that was excellent on gas. I probably got about 20 to 25 miles per gallon, so I rarely had to put gas in my car unless I was taking long trips. I could put 15 to 25 bucks in my car and that would give me a full tank, especially with the gas prices being low. But when gas is high, then I'm spending a little more. I also like that I had an sunroof that I enjoyed on nice summer and spring days. I could just open up the sunroof and let the cool breeze blow in my face while I'm driving down the highway doing 65 mph.
Cons
It needed a water pump, oil change, tranny flush, breaks were going bad, engine light was on, and the passenger window would not roll down. When I drove the car, it felt like it didn't won't to go, but after some of the repairs were completed, it ran a little bit better. I didn't like that the radio didn't play that well either. There was something wrong with the radio antenna that it couldn't pick up FM stations, only AM stations. I was told that I could buy another antenna, but it would be around $50 bucks. I just decided to used my cellphone for my radio and brought the cords to stick i... (more)

I purchased my Pontiac Grand AM after my previous car was totaled in an accident. Overall, it has been a good vehicle. My car has been driven over 150, 000 miles. I only have had complete general maintenance. There has been no costly mechanical failure. After all these years the car still runs smoothly and gets great gas mileage. However, there has been some small issues. There was a recall due to an ignition issue. Also, my dashboard has been warped by the heat. It was to expensive to get fixed so I just covered it up. The digital clock in my car no longer works. The body of the car is easy to damage. Any little tap will cause a big dent. Since I currently work for home I don't need a new vehicle. My Pontiac will be with me at least for a few more years.
Story
Me and my mom plan a day to go Christmas shopping each year. One year it was raining, but we still decided to go. Our closest mall is about 40 minutes away. We did a lot of shopping that day. We went into a lot of different stores. I would then run out to the car to put the bags in the trunk. We were so into the shopping that we weren't paying attention to the weather. On one of my trips outsi... (more)
