This car is primarily from getting you from A to B. This is moderately comfortable... for those sitting in the front of the car. The car is compact and leaves little to no space in the back for additional passengers. The battery is located in the back of the car which is beneficial, as it is the only car I know of that has the battery in that location, so it's easy for others to jump you. The car was a four cylinder, so it was slow of course. The least satisfying aspect was the mileage. Over time the car became less and less efficient, only averaging around 15-20 mpg now at over 150,000 miles.
Pros
The most positive aspect was that it is comfortable for single drivers and that it gets you from point A to point B. There were very little positive qualities about this car.
Cons
The worst part about this car was maintenance. The car was relatively healthy for the first 75,000 miles with the typical tune ups and maintenance. However, after that I began experiencing many mechanical issues. First, it was the alternator that had to be completely replaced as it locked the key into the ignition even after turning the car off. Then every window mechanism to raise and lower the window broke in the car. All the plastic pieces just snapped and needed to be replaced. Now at around 150,000 miles, the starter needed replacing. One of the other things that irked me was the posi... (more)

I love this little car. I have an older model, but it holds up so well, I rarely have issues. It is extremely dependable, which is amazing considering it's 13 years old! I have taken it for long trips to Phoenix (we live in southern California), and we've never experienced a problem. Because of its size, gas and oil changes are incredibly affordable. The trunk space is surprisingly large for it. I can easily throw in a few weeks of groceries without hassle. It's comfortable too. My husband, who is 6'4", can drive it no problem, although he does have to take the seat all the way back. Even with the use and abuse, nothing major has broken. I got lucky with the color and found one that was a nice bright blue. This helps me a lot in the parking lot when I look for my car! Anyway, I would h... (more)
Story
My car is uniquely colored, so I can always find it in a lot, because I'm the only one in this small city that has one like it. One time, I came out from shopping and couldn't open the door. I looked up to find out it wasn't my car! It was so embarrassing. That never happens!
Pros
It's dependable, affordable, and great on gas! There is a lot of trunk space for its size, and it can really take the abuse.
Cons
I'm not a fan of where the trunk pop-up switch is located. It's right on the drivers side floor. Ours broke, because my husband stepped on it.
