I love this car because of all the different uses it has. We use it around town, and it easily accommodates our family of four with two growing boys. I hold a lot of groceries or gear when we're traveling to the grandparents two hours away or gifts on Christmas. We are outdoorsy, so having a vehicle that can handle driving on gravel uneven mountain roads is very useful for us, and this car keeps up with the trucks. We often go up to the mountain or to the beach with this car. We're able to use it for our back country backpacking trips, and also it works well for a little less adventure during car camping trips. Everyone has enough room. Our car is also a pezv edition, so I feel responsible owning it. It has heated seats which we all enjoy on winter mornings. The only thing I did not li... (more)
Story
We always take the car camping annually, but the first time we took it out after we were a family of four, was really special. Our young boys in the back. We had such a fun adventure, and our baby even did well in the cold October camping. The fact that this vehicle can keep up with our outdoorsy lifestyle is a huge bonus and really helps us build family memories.
Pros
Heated seats, pezv edition, brown color, room for family, room for gear/groceries, room for dog, good in town vehicle, good car for mountain driving, responsible looking vehicle, never get profiled in this vehicle or pulled over, and all the different power outlets there's even some in the back which is perfect for camping.
Cons
Would want newer model. All things age, wish it would stay new forever. No heated seats in the back, wish there was magazine compartments on both sides in the back.

Our Subaru is a decent car that comes in handy with the wagon model and all wheel drive. Bought it from my aunt when my uncle died about two years ago. I drove the car to Portland Oregon from Helena Montana. We have been able to haul many things so it has come in handy. The car seems to have been built well and I have experienced no issues with electronics or mechanics. The interior is very nice looking and holds up well. This car is very quiet on the highway and in town driving. The car is very comfortable for long trips with pretty good fuel economy unless you are driving strictly in town.
Story
Two years ago, I was especially happy to have this car when we had a big snow storm. I had to get to work and the all wheel drive did not disappoint. However, after I got to work, they let everyone go home after about an hour due to the weather.
Pros
The positive things are the haul capacity, stability, comfort and quiet ride. Also, its highly useful having all wheel drive with so much rain around here. Another thing I like is that you are riding up a little higher than a sedan so the visibility is better. It also has a roof rack if you are into winter sports and the windows are tinted.
Cons
I'm not sure I would buy another vehicle like this for a couple of reasons. One is the fact that it uses oil more than most vehicles. The dealer explained that this is typical of this model to use about a quart of oil about every three months or 4,000 miles. This is not cool. Also, the economy around town is only about 20mpg. I prefer much better.
