I love my Subaru Outback. It's large enough to fit all of my stuff (which is a lot) and then some! It came with a hitch for my bike rack, and the roof rack came with cross bars, which is awesome for travel and adventures in the future. I can also fold the seats down and sleep in the back if I don't want to set up a tent while camping. The drive is amazing also. Although it could get better gas mileage, the way it hugs the road in rain is amazing, and I feel extremely safe. If I were to get in a car accident, I am extremely confident that I will be okay. The air conditioning could be better, as if it were only in the front. Some people complain about the back having difficulty heating up/cooling down. However, I mostly drive alone or with one other passenger so at this point in my life ... (more)
Story
Sadly, I have yet to really enjoy my car to its best ability. However, I was able to drive up and down the national park and enjoy the sights and beach with my car. The road usually had sand all over it, so it felt as if I was "off roading" too. I've also been able to use my car to travel and go hiking.
Pros
The top positive things about the vehicle is the amount of items I can get into the car for traveling and moving. I have a lot of things, and there are a lot of areas to store things as well as the roof rack and hitch. I can also use the hitch in the future to trailer items since the car is able to do that. I love the look of the car and the color (it's green). I wish I could have bought a blue car, but the green is also beautiful. The back of the car is also big enough to fit items and also sleep in the back, which is great for camping alone as a female. Other positives are how great the ... (more)
Cons
I've had a few concerns about the car. Although I like how large it is and the convenience of 4-wheel drive, gas mileage is much higher than my previous cars. This ups how much I spend in gas and the car was already pricey. However, what I paid for in price, hopefully will reflect in longevity. I have also had issues with fulfilling my warranty requirements. Although I am okay with the mileage checks, there are tire requirements that cost me a lot of money. I had one flat tire and to make sure I didn't void the warranty or harm the transmission I had to get 4 new tires (all the tread had t... (more)

Subaru is a great car company. The quality of workmanship is impeccable. It is well put together, runs well, handles well and, is a fun car to drive. The safety aspect is the number one reason I bought the car. I have severe neck and back issues, and the safety originally is what sold me. The handling of the car is amazing. It is responsive, I have the 6 cylinder, fast, and a pleasure to drive. The only con I have is the passenger seat is not a power seat like the driver. The AC could be better in the rear. It is comfortable to ride in for a long road trip as well. It is listed as a 5 passenger, it is really more comfortable for 4 adults. The 5th person is a bit squeezed in. I took two of my grandchildren on a trip and they did not complain about room or comfort. The trunk size is g... (more)
Story
My son was saying that I drove like a grandma. I am a grandma. So I was merging onto the freeway and hit the accelerator to merge with the traffic, and put his head to the headrest while doing it. It was fun. He was impressed.
Pros
Safety, reliability, quality, handling. Features: eyesight, navigation, running lights. Easy to drive.
Cons
The only real negative is the passenger seat is not a power seat. I wish it were bigger because of the size of my family, but its not a negative on the car. I wish the A/C was better in the rear.
