I love the look and style, that's what sold it for me. It has a rather sleek look in my opinion, although still maintaining that rugged sport look that most would expect with a vehicle like this. The interior has ample space which is a must for me. That was one of the main things I was looking for, and the 4Runner does not disappoint in that area. There is huge trunk space as well as great leg room all around. We often load up parts and other big things in the trunk for our business, and thus far, we have never had to put the seats down to fit anything. To give an idea of just how much room there is... we've loaded things such as car bumpers, etc.. The ride is OK, not as good as I was expecting it to be considering the price we paid. It's not horrible, but I think it could use some imp... (more)
Story
I took it to the beach, near home...just once so far, was kind of afraid to do so because it's a newer car, but it was actually really easy to clean up afterwards.
Pros
My absolute favorite thing is the stylish look. One of the nicest cars around right now in my opinion. The sidesteps are awesome!
Cons
The ride/suspension could be better. It feels a little stiff. This is mainly a family, everyday vehicle so we're big on how the ride feels. I also thought it would have more power but eh...not so much. It carries its load, but I guess considering its weight, that's about it.

I am in love with my new car! The body style is sporty yet conventional and is very durable and sturdy. The functionality is second to none. The ride is smooth yet you can feel the power as if you were riding in a truck. We just had a new baby and there is plenty of room in the back seat for a large carseat as well as our two dogs on either side of it fitting comfortably. We bought this car hoping that it would be our forever car and after a year of owning it, we know we will have this car as long as possible which will hopefully be 15 to 20 years.
Story
Having a new baby, we have used the very back cargo area several times as a changing station which has worked out great, especially when we are on road trips.
Pros
The best thing about this car is its durability. We can drive over curbs or rocks as well as drive on city roads with ease. We bought the car for the available 3rd row of seating and have used it several times in the past year. The seats are so comfortable and the interior is extremely spacious. The navigation system and sound system work great, and the fact that there is a USB port where we can directly plug our flash drive into is also amazing. One unique feature which we also love is that there is an electronic outlet in the back of the car which has saved us on long road trips.
Cons
It is pretty expensive and we would like just a little more room in the very back when the 3rd row is up. Also, the exterior lights are not automatic which is extremely annoying. I wish there were more air conditioning vents in the back seats.
