This is a good car. I bought it new off the lot in 2007 and I still have it in 2016. The car is very spacious and has a good sound system with a USB port to play my music. The car is very roomy and the seats are big - it can accommodate larger persons.
Story
A great memory was when I took a road trip with my sister and cousins and was able to sit in the back sit, it was very comfortable to sleep in for a few hours because I let somebody else drive.
Pros
About a year ago it needed a recall and Toyota extended the warranty for the recall. The car was burning an excessive amount of oil, but now I have new pistons (free) and it runs like new. I have 150,000 miles on it and the only thing it has needed are the occasional brakes, windshield wipers and new tires. All the electronics run well in the car and there is also an indicator that tells you if the tire pressure is low. The car looks very sporty for a bigger car and has gotten many compliments through the years. It gets about 28 miles to the gallon and used to get almost 30 when It was new... (more)
Cons
The only problem the car has is with the back doors - but that was my fault.

I had done a lot of research on what makes a good car, as well as good cars in general. I found that this was one of the most reliable vehicles rated by JD Power and Associates, so that proved to me that it was highly reliable. When I purchased it, I was ecstatic in owning a car that gave the feel of luxury while having the backed reliability of such a long lasting car brand. As I have owned it for over a year now, it still runs just as good as it did when I first purchased it. The ride is quiet and comfortable, and it comes with many amenities that I did not expect from a car of this price, such as the convertible top, Bluetooth integration, and heated seats. All in all, I definitely feel that this was the best vehicle that I could have purchased at the time.
Story
Driving on the highway through rural Kansas hills with the top down for the first time.
Pros
The ride is quiet and comfortable thanks to the soft suspension, the seats are heated and the A/C system is top notch. The Bluetooth integration also makes driving while on the phone a breeze. The gas mileage is fair, and the convertible top makes it fun for the summer.
Cons
The gas mileage is fair and could be better. Also, the acceleration could be improved for a car with a V6 in it. The sound system could be a bit better for a luxury car.
