2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser Owner Ratings & Reviews

2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser - My forever SUV!
I enjoy this vehicle more as each year passes. I very much enjoy the look of it - inside and out. It's very comfortable to drive and ride in. We've taken many long road trips and it's the vehicle we prefer to take. It also has a decent kick when you need to pass someone; and has good handling considering it's not a sports car. I still get people asking about it, commenting on it, asking me how I like it. I enjoy that it has a unique look compared to most cars/trucks/SUVs. It makes a wonderful sport vehicle that we can take off road - and have many times - while at the same time still feels like a very nice vehicle inside.
Story
We've taken it to the sand dunes and camping/driving on the beach. We did a little bit of tooling around the dunes and it handled it very well. Could even bowl a few of them. Went up/down a few steeper one and it was able to handle it all. And we crawled on the roof to watch the sunset.
Pros
I love that I can see above most cars around me. I also enjoy being able to drive it off road; and it's easy to shift in/out of 4x4 mode. It's very comfortable to drive/ride and is super cute. It has been very reliable which is very important to me. Also, I love that it still fits in 'Compact' size parking spots!
Cons
The only cons I'd say is there are a couple of blind spots, so you need to be aware of that and careful. And the mileage is not bad, but it's not as good as some other SUVs.
