I absolutely love my FJ Cruiser. I have the Trail Teams package on it as well, so it has a few of the extras some others don't have. This is a heavy, solid, vehicle that feels safe and indestructible.
Story
I used to live in Florida, and going to the beach was especially fun. It was always easy to load everything we needed, and the FJ could go wherever we wanted to go without any issues. Also, the sound system was fantastic, so we had great music with us as well.
Pros
There are so many great features of this vehicle. First, the design along with the special wheels and luggage rack, really stands out and gets noticed, often. I've often used the rack to haul my paddle board, without any issues. I love that it is a solid color, rather than editions that have a white roof and different color body. The subwoofer speaker has always been one of my favorite features since you can feel the music as it plays. The added Sirius XM radio is a nice addition as well. There are folding second row seats that allows for extra room to haul whatever you may need. Th... (more)
Cons
There are only 2 drawbacks to the FJ that I have found. First, there are significant blind spots as there are small windows in the back. I've been able to adjust the oversized mirrors though, so it is less of an issue now. The second drawback is the fuel mileage. This is a heavy vehicle, with a 4-cylinder engine, so mileage isn't as great as I would like.

I love the styling of the FJ Cruiser. It has a "new retro" look about it. I have driven the vehicle over 100,000 miles without needing anything other than scheduled maintenance, i.e., replace tires, brakes, and oil changes.
Story
Have had to pull a few "bigger" trucks out of the ditch during heavy snow storms.
Pros
Again, I will mention the styling of the vehicle, and the fact that you don't see many of them on the road. Many of the vehicles on the road today look the same with a different name badge on them. It is a very solid vehicle when I first got the vehicle. I loved the way the door sounded when it was shut, a nice solid thud like a truck door should sound. The vehicle has great off-road capability, most people will never use or need the abilities that this vehicle has. It is also a car that you can find many accessories for so you can customize the look of your machine to meet your taste. The... (more)
Cons
The only real issue with the vehicle is access to the back seat and lack of rear visibility.
