I was looking for a car that could fit my needs and also my budget. The Prius C seemed to be the best choice for me. It was not very expensive (about $15000) and still a nice size. I do not drive a lot but the fuel savings does add up, especially when gas is expensive. It is a 4-door car, which is a nice change from my other car. While not the best car on the market, it is great for the price point and still fun to drive. I have not had any issues with the battery and the ToyotaCare that comes with the car is a nice addition.
Story
I am able to drive to downtown Phoenix from Paradise Valley Mall for less than $0.50 In gas. That is a nice outcome.
Pros
The price is what brought me to the car in the first place. It was in my price range and still big enough. I looked at a Fiat but it was not large enough for my needs. The mileage is the best thing about the car. I have to get gas only about once every two months. It is almost a competition to see how long I can make a tank of gas go.
Cons
The car is not a fancy car. It does not go very fast. The model year that I bought was also very basic and lacks some of the gadgets that are in current models. The car is very lightweight, which sometimes does not make for a smooth ride.

The car, for what it is, is excellent. It is a smaller car, so it's not ideal for families, but if you live in a city, it is a solid choice. It gets tremendous MPG (around 50 MPG) and is a smooth ride. The interior materials are high quality carpet and have held up well over the three years I've owned the car. I have experienced no issues with the key electronic components, including the stereo, and the mechanical parts of the car have had no problems while being in heavy use.
Story
I drove from Ohio to Tennessee and back in the car, which was the longest trip I've made in the Prius C. It was a smooth ride.
Pros
The main reason I purchased this car was its fuel efficiency. Under regular use, the car hovers around 45-50 miles per gallon, which is tremendous in today's expensive gas price world. New Toyota cars also come with ToyotaCare, which covers all maintenance and oil changes for the first 25,000 miles.
Cons
The car is expensive, which could be a deterrent for a lot of people. It's also a low to the ground and compact car, which might not be great for everyone.
