2016 Toyota Prius c - The best little car I know.

The first time I drove a Prius was while traveling for work and ended up renting one. I had never driven a hybrid before and was amazed at this little car. For a small car, the interior was spacious and even the back seat passengers didn't feel cramped. I was amazed that after a full week of daily use of 30+ miles per day, my fill-up near the airport to return home was under $10. When I got home, a short while later, I decided to trade in my gas guzzling truck in for something smaller and I knew I wanted to go look at a Prius. Just be aware, this is a small car and a hybrid, so don't expect to go street racing in it. It has a decent "get up and go" and a nice increase in speed and will maintain 75-80 mph with no issues but you aren't going to get up to that speed in "60 seconds or less".
Story
One of the things that usually frustrates me about the Prius is the small size due to how other drivers' react but the time I truly enjoy having such a small car is in commercial business parking lots. Every time I go to the mall or the grocery store, you always have those drivers that park too far to one side or the other or even cross the lines to prevent others from parking near them. With ... Pros
The interior space and cargo space are amazing in this vehicle. Looking at it from the outside, you'd think it would be cramped, but it's not. My 6 foot son fits in it just fine, even in the back seat. And the cargo holds a weeks' worth of groceries and supplies for 4 dogs & 2 cats with no problem. But what got me looking at this type of vehicle was the MPG. With proper maintenance, even after a year, I'm still averaging over 50 MPG on a tank of fuel.
Cons
The biggest negative for me is the small vehicle size mainly due to being use to larger vehicles and how other drivers reach to smaller vehicles. Another item on the vehicle that I've thought negatively about is the window heaters. They don't catch the side windows and only a narrow strip on the rear window, which can be a pain on cold, damp mornings.

The only repairs or maintenance I've had to do are regular oil changes and changing the windshield wipers.
Story
One memorable story while using this video that springs to mind is the time that I was parked at the lot at a hiking trail. I left the window open about an inch to circulate some air while I was hiking. When I returned, a bird had somehow pooped on 90% of the seat, despite having only left the window open an inch.
Pros
The Prius C was a very cheap, affordable car. I love that my Prius C is fuel efficient. I commute about a half an hour each way to work every day, and I only get gas about once every two weeks. It has been a very reliable vehicle for me.
Cons
The inside of the Prius C does not feel luxurious at all - actually, it feels pretty cheap. The material of the seats is not the greatest and the center console is made of cheap fabric. The car does not come with a remote start or GPS.
