We purchased the Toyota Venza to use as our family car and used it to bring home our two children from the hospital when they were born. The car seats fit quite well in the back seat and the trunk has plenty of room to fit a double stroller and two weeks worth of groceries. We've driven it on dirt roads as well, and it rode as if we were on pavement. It's never given us any mechanical problems and we've driven it over 30,000 miles so far. The interior fabric is light colored but cleans up easily and looks sharp.
Story
My husband and I drove out to a musical road when our son was younger. The amazed look on his face was priceless when our tires played out the song as we passed over it.
Pros
The Venza has ample leg and headroom for all passengers, even with both front seats pushed all the way back. The rear A/C vents assure us that our children and dog are just as cool as we are in the front seats. The front seats have a sunroof overhead and back seats have a moon roof, which is quite unique and allows our kids to stare up at the clouds as we drive.
Cons
It's a low vehicle, so when we buckle the kids into their car seats or have to do an emergency diaper change in the rear end we have to hunch over quite a bit.
