The car is built great. It has great gas mileage. It's big enough to move stop if you need to. The design has a very quiet drive. The seats are very comfortable and great for long drives. I love the feel of way the car handles the road on long trips. It has great-looking wheels. I would buy this car again, because it proves itself over and over. I like my car, because it is pearl white, and it shows off. The maintenance on this car is low cost for keep up. They have other colors like white, brown, black, and red. The other models have DVD players and mapping systems. The oil change may be high at times, because it is not standard oil, but you get more miles out of it. The bad part is they don't make this model anymore. Maybe it will make a come back.
Story
The car has great handling, looks and design. When I bought mine, no one had one. Now I see them everywhere. We live in a small town.
Pros
Great-looking car. It has great gas mileage for long-time trips. It has a lot of leg room for the entire family. The seats fold down for extra space when needed. The radio has a great sound. The traction control has great handling of the road. We like how you control the heading for different parts of the car. Speed control is great for long trips. It's a popular car. I see this car everywhere we go. For the money, it's a great value compared to other models. Moving the seats in the car is easy with a push of a button. The tinted windows make it easy to drive without the sun in your... (more)
Cons
The seats get stained easy. The sides of the doors lose their color. The sun visor on the driver's side has to be replaced, because it's made cheap. The car doesn't have a standard back-up camera. If the car were a little bigger, it would be great for moving stuff. I was lied to that the car would have a standard DVD and mapping system. They will not fix the sun visor on this car -- even with it being dangerous. The motor for the A/C went out after two years. It was very costly to replace -- costing over $250.00. The warranty is too short for this car. I think the warranty needs to be i... (more)

We looked at a lot of SUV type cars before we settled on the Toyota Venza. I read a lot about the car on line and found very favorable reviews. We weren't looking for a car with speed, we wanted comfort and ease of hauling our things back/forth from FL/OH. We absolutely loved this car from the first time we drove it. It was a very smooth ride and had all the things we wanted except a backup camera. So we installed factory beeping system that lets us know when someone is behind the car or we are too close to something. This car gets good gas mileage as well. It's a 4 cylinder with front wheel drive. No need for four wheel and pay the extra. We loved the back room seating area as it was the largest in the industry for this type of car at the time. Our friends love sitting in the back sea... (more)
Story
This is a great car to haul stuff back/forth when needed. My husband can't believe how much stuff I can get into this car including two car carriers that are quite large. Our kitties love the ride as well as us!
Pros
Leg room, head room. Ease of dropping down the seats. Gas mileage. Smooth ride, great for long trips. Hauls a lot of cargo. Friends love the backroom seating. I would buy another one of these vehicles. We find the LE basic model with front end drive to be adequate for our needs. Never had a problem driving it in the snow before we retired to FL. This car has everything we need.
Cons
To be honest, I do not have anything negative to say about this vehicle. Of course, we could have gotten a bigger engine, but we wanted good gas mileage. So, although the 4 cylinder is a bit slow in climbing up the mountains, we find it adequate. This car is more for the 45+ aged people as not a hot rod. We were extremely disappointed when Toyota discontinued this model and decided to keep the Rav4 and Highlander. This car was a great cross between the two models. We have chose to keep this car for as long as possible because we do not see anything else out there that we would want at this... (more)
