Volkswagen Cabriolet is the first car I ever owned. I got it right after I got a job, and it was perfect for me. For everyone who desires Audi/BMW like class and performance but aren't as bothered about the brand value, I would suggest this would be their best option. The look is what I would cite as its best feature, as cheesy as it may sound. It a cool car from the outside to the inside. The sporty finish to it and the smooth curves would make it the envy of anyone looking at it. The interiors are top notch so is the performance. Story
The first trip I took with my girlfriend was in this car. We drove to the Niagara Falls in the spring.. Was a beautiful day to remember.
Pros
Looks! World class interiors. Engine and the breaking system of the Volks Cabriolet is unparalleled in its price range.
Cons
Costlier maintenance if it breaks down. Spare parts availability considerably lower than other brands and variants.

This is probably one of the best little variants of the VW Cabriolet ever made. It is fun. It is easy to customize.
Story
I have driven this particular car on Holly Beach. I have also gotten one stuck on Rutherford Beach in Louisiana. Both times, it was easy to get folks to help pull me out.
Pros
Parts are easy to find, both after market and OEM. It gets great gas mileage. It is a manual. It is comfortable for four people. I believe it is a perfect road trip vehicle. It is good for the beach. Maintenance is simple. It has great performance for such a small call.
Cons
It is small. It can be a little temperamental. The A/C is not great. The top can be prone to leaks. Finding a qualified mechanic is difficult.
