Used Volkswagen New Beetle for Sale

I’ve always liked Slug Bugs. Having one was my dream car since I was in middle school, and then I finally got one. I’m not a car girl: I don’t care about specs or speed; I want my car to be safe and work. The fact the car is awesome looking is the added bonus. I’ve had problems with it about once a year, mostly electrical. But it goes when I tell it to go, and gets me where I need to go.

The Volkswagen new Beetle packs a lot of fun into a little package! Easily identifiable worldwide, the Beetle is not just fun to look at but super fun to drive. The five-speed manual transmission gives just the right amount of get up go, while the 2.5L engine gives great gas mileage. With same body-color bumper, grills, door handles, and mirrors, the Beetle has a sleek, smooth design that comes in vibrant colors such as "Gecko Green", "Salsa Red", and "Sunflower Yellow". And even though I am six feet tall, I have plenty of leg room. The back seat folds down to provide extra cargo space as well. The interior features automatic windows, seat heaters, and is equipped with a great stereo system. Removable floor mats make it easy to clean and the leatherette seats are also easy to maintain. For the cons, the car is very basic as far as luxury goes. Seats are reclined using a knob that is somewhat difficult to turn. The cruise control stopped working shortly after I purchased the vehicle. I have also had to replace the headlights twice in the three years that I have owned the vehicle. Repairs can be rather expensive, including the battery replacement. However, I love the car. It is fun to drive and funny to watch people saying "punch bug" when I drive by!

My 1998 New Beetle is a nice small car. It gets pretty good gas mileage and can fit into all the tight parking spots. Its interior is more spacious then you would think for its size. You can fit more than you think in the trunk as well. It drives very well and can turn very sharp. It does have some problems since it is an older car. Also since is a foreign car it requires special tools to fix or a special repair shop. It might not be the best car to buy new but if you acquire one cheaply or for free it will work out well.
