I really love the economy and design. The interior is roomy for a smaller car. The speed from 0-60 is incredible. This car is really fast considering it is a sedan. The trunk area could be a little bigger, but even the back seats are roomy for the kids. It has great looks for a VW, which I really was surprised. The body lines are sleek and the headlights and taillights are even pretty attractive. Personally I have never liked the looks of VW cars but the dealer sent me an incentive to test drive and I was really impressed by this car. So much so, I bought it. I would have very little to complain about, I haven't had any mechanical issues other than a maintenance light for antifreeze. Maintenance is very VW specific, which I don't really care for, but hopefully I wont need much of it. T... (more)
Story
I was driving to the store, beside me at a light was a Dodge Challenger. I tore him a new one.
Pros
0-60 speed, fast, interior design, German engineering.
Cons
Trunk area a bit small, console design.

I love my Tiguan. It does not have a sporty look, but I think it is classy. I call it my Classy Chassy. Anyway, it is a mid-size SUV that has a lot of pep and a lot of room. It is very comfortable on the highway and gets good mileage. If I could change anything about it, it would be the price. Volkswagens are a bit pricey.
Story
My husband and I drove it from Rhode Island to Florida. We felt like we were going in style.
Pros
The Tiguan is stylish in a conservative sort of way. It has a lot of pep yet is fuel efficient. It rides very smoothly, and the body feels tight. It has all of the bells and whistles even in the basic model. It is an excellent family car and a good travel vehicle.
Cons
A bit pricey when compared to American or Japanese cars of similar style. It is not sporty and has only a few basic options.
