Pros

  • Well-appointed interior with leather seating
  • Great handling for a large vehicle
  • Sporty design
  • Low dash with easy to reach knobs and buttons
  • Cons

  • Cramped third row of seating
  • Steering could use more feel
  • Option packages are expensive
  • Folding down second row of seats is inconvenient

  • Key Takeaways

The 2018 Audi Q7 provides nearly the perfect balance of luxury and driving experience. A plush and comfortable interior seats seven in three rows, although adult passengers in the third row are a bit cramped. A sporty design disguises the size of the vehicle, while exceptional handling means the Q7 drives like a smaller car.

The inside of the car is so very quiet. The entire inside is classy, has all the perks, love the piece that shows are you hitting anyone from the back as well as the sides, and captain seats. The outside is sleek and gets average gas mileage. I wish the mileage was a bit better. We have a ski rack and bike rack on the car. So easy to put on and love the room in the back for all the ski gear. The price was a bit steep. The stereo is top notch. I have the model with videos for the kids to keep them entertained on long trips. The navigation system either allows you to input the address or you can use Apple CarPlay. I ended up leasing the car instead of buying. At the end of the lease, I am going to buy it in. We only travel locally or to ski resort. We do not even use the annual mile limi... (more)
    Story
The kids were charting license plates for much of the trip. We were traveling to Utah. Kids get bored. We game up with car games to pass the time. On the charting of license plates, the only one we never found was Kentucky. We even found Hawaii and Alaska. Combined with the license plates, we chose car types. For every car, we came up with a fun fact. Volkswagen was slug bug. Mustang was kick.... (more)
    Pros
Quiet, cabin seats, heated seats and steering wheel.
    Cons
Lease or car payment; gas mileage is not what it should be.

My car looks good, but it has some engine problems and the car's condition is not good. The Q7 is not equipped with a spare tire nor is there space to carry one.
    Pros
It runs smooth and is comfortable.
    Cons
    Sound.
