Car was purchased used from a fellow driver and I got a good deal for it. If you are looking for a car with great gas mileage, this is not your car. While the mileage isn't bad, it's definitely not a gas saver. This car wants to be driven and hard! The suspension is great and handles like it is meant for a racetrack. It takes summers like a champ, though black on black is not recommended for your typical desert summer. That being said, the AC works tremendously!! I've never been so cold in my car while the heat is blazing outside! As far as mechanisms go, this car has been pretty great. This car is incredibly reliable and I would drive it everywhere. The trunk space is large enough for a couple large suitcases (maybe more) and several other smaller bags to fill the gaps. The interior i... (more)
Story
Honestly, my favorite thing is driving to work, getting on the freeway, and gunning it (up to the speed limit, of course). There's nothing like the feel of your engine roaring to life!
Pros
Comfort is my number one. I've got to have a certain amount of stability in my seat. I need to feel protected and comfortable, this car allows me both! Luggage space in the trunk! Speed demon! Watch yourself, you can get into trouble! the M3 cruises so easily, you're above the speed limit in no time! The front seats are customizable, about 70 different ways?!! It's amazing!
Cons
The door trim/wood cracks in the heat, which is a very common thing and has been for years. That doesn't make it any less annoying. My car, in particular, the leather/casing of the glove-box was sagging and is just unsightly. It took a bit to fix, and a handy BMW Tech, to get this issue fixed.

The 2003 bmw m3 is an absolutely fantastic drivers car. It is very apparent that it is a fast car from the moment you push on the gas. I love almost everything about the car. It has very nice leather seats, a well optioned interior with twelve speakers, heated seats, sunroof, power windows, locks and seats. The ride is stiff and comfortable.
Story
Taking the car for Sunday drives on empty rolling roads and really getting everything possible out of the car.
Pros
The thing that i love most about the car is the engine. It is an extremely high revving engine that redlines at 8100 RPMs. The motor constantly begs you to put your right foot down and let it wind up. The next favorite thing about the car is the way it handles. The steering wheel feels like it is an extension of your arm. The steering is so precise and the response from the steering wheel to the wheels is instant.
Cons
The only negative thing that i will say about the car is when or if something goes wrong on the car it will be expensive to fix and or replace. BMW makes this car with a lot of unique parts that takes a special mechanic to fix. The combo nation of the unique parts and the specialized mechanic could set the owner up for hefty maintenance bills.
