2017 BMW M3 - Like power, handling. Dislike high parts costs and the fact it might not be that reliable as I have had $10,000 in major repairs in the last 4 years. It does have a timeless design, however. I feel like it will be a classic car one day.

I owned a 99 BMW 328i and I loved it. Since then, E46 M3 was my dream car. Unfortunately, after a few weeks owing it, I found it a bit over weight. The SMG auto manual sucked. Either shifting too abrupt or too slow. I was never able to dial it to behave correctly. Well, it could be me who expected the computer to shift better than human could. Obviously, with single clutch, that is not possible. I kept the car for a year or so and got rid of it so soon as I could. That was my last BMW.
Story
Best all around sports car for its age. Takes a solid second place, in every category making it a easy win and a very good buy. Handles better then any car out there, and also has descent power. The E46 M3 I think I in the top ten best cars ever made.
Pros
SMG Gearbox is amazing.
Cons
Doesn't get the best gas mileage, but it's a race car!

Ever since I was a kid I had loved the look of BMW but I didn't want to spend all that money on German engineering and look like some old man on his way to the country club. So while staying in my price range I opted for the M3 model. It had everything I wanted in an entry level dream car.
Story
I've never once heard anything but compliments about the look of the car and my friends and family love riding it. I can't tell you how many times my dad has tried to "borrow" my car because his is "in the shop" for a few hours and he needs something to get around while running "errands."
Pros
From the heated seats and gorgeous rims to the sunroof there wasn't anything about it I didn't love. It's got a thick body with some curves so it looks like its ready for business while being nice and quick off the line.
Cons
The biggest con has been any repairs. Unless you want to buy specialty tools you won't be doing much yourself and any little thing can wrack up a heavy bill fast.
