It's generally fun to drive. Peppy but with better visibility than a car. It drives like other German cars with tight responsive steering. It does also have selections for comfort mode, sport mode, or fuel economy mode. I do like the interior finish quality--the leather seats are comfortable, and the dash panel has a good design that allows me to operate it hands free. The back seats are roomy enough for adults and can be folded down when I need more cargo space. The quality seems luxurious overall, but I did have a problem with the auto back door latch. As far as looks, I think it looks really sleek and modern.
Story
I've popped the back door and used it for tailgating at football games. Much nicer than a truck!
Pros
My favorite feature is the look of the interior. It is one of the most comfortable cars I've ever driven for my average height. I also like that I have Wi-Fi and can stream music through the car. The last thing that I absolutely love is the extended sun roof. It's so nice to have natural light when you're stuck driving for a while or when you've been cooped up in an office all day.
Cons
I don't like paying for premium fuel, and it is not a super fuel-efficient car. I'm not a huge fan of BMW, so sometimes I wish this was another more low-key brand of car that didn't have so much of a stigma around it.

2016 BMW X3 - The BMW X3 seems to have it all.

So after several years with a larger, fairly common, German SUV, I got really tired of the poor gas mileage and $1,000 visits to the dealer. I was hesitant to get another SUV (or SAV as BMW calls it), so I looked for something a bit smaller and with better fuel economy. The BMW X3 seems to have it all. Yes, space is a bit smaller than many SUVs, but the 1.8L, turbo charged engine averages nearly 30mpg and I still have room to fit two bicycles in the back (seat folded down, front wheels off). Power is good, braking is good and the suspension is just right. I drive it like a car with almost no body roll or fear of getting out of shape. The interior fit and finish of the car is also excellent with just enough luxury to make you feel good. Everything is pretty much where it needs to be.
Story
Once, I couldn't find my key at work so I tried using the BMW Connected app to remotely open the car doors once. It worked perfectly. Neat!!
Pros
Great ride, excellent gas mileage, some nice luxury features and well built!
Cons
The lack of a spare tire (in exchange for run-flats), doesn't make me feel good. Also, I didn't cough-up for the lighting package, so standard is the old, dingy halogen lights with LED driving lights.
