Used Dodge Caliber for Sale in San Diego, CA

I purchased this Dodge Caliber about two years ago. It was a certified used vehicle. It is Silver trimmed in black, which is not my favorite color. In fact the exterior color is one of the things I dislike about it. The second think is the RPM. The performance is terrible. And on top of that, gas mileage is the worse. You would think that such a small car, it would get good mileage, but it does not. Since I have had it I have had two accidents, each time the car has been hit on practically the same place.

Story

The only thing I can think of is when I first purchased this vehicle and I drove it home for the first time. I hadn't remember seeing many of this car before I purchased mine. So, being one of the first ones was nice.

Pros

What I like about the car is the interior color. It is all black. Although I wasn't crazy about the exterior, I feel in love with interior color. The inside looked so sleek. Because I am tall, the other thing that I like about the Caliber is the roominess. I don't feel cramp. I also like knowing that if my tires are running low on air or if my gas cap is loose, the sensors will let me know.

Cons

One of the negatives that I mentioned before is the performance. It is horrible on gas. The trunk is so small. In fact the trunk is so small I have to be careful not to overdo it when I go shopping, although I can let the seat down, but who wants to go through the hassle.

2008 Dodge Caliber - Wonderful

I like that this vehicle is very utilitarian. There is not much in terms of its inabilities. That is to say, I feel that of all types of cargo loads I can think of, within reason, fits into this vehicle. I have gone camping many times with this car, and I have to say it has performed well.

Story

I took this vehicle on a trip up the West Coast of the U.S., and I have to say it was absolutely perfect. Wonderful for camping and wonderful fuel mileage for such a long trip.

Pros

One is ground clearance. While it is not as tall as some other vehicles, it has taken me where I need to go. Another is the ability to change the configuration of the interior. Gas mileage is a plus. It has gotten me well above 30 mpg average over its life.

Cons

I do not like the transmission. It is the "seamless" continuously varying transmissions. This means that instead of specific gears, it stays in a power band, and there is no discernable shifting between the gears.
