Basically a tin coffin
When I first bought this car, I thought I would really like it. The car was sleek and somewhat sporty, and was a beautiful shade of teal. But after a week it was very obvious that this car was essentially a death trap. I noticed, when trying to repair one of the car door speakers that there was practically no padding between the trim and the door. Just a tiny thin layer of the same kind of foam you find in an egg carton. The steering wheel was gummy and anytime it got too humid or your hands were too wet, the finish would rub off onto your hands, whether through the steering wheel or through the gear shift. The engine performed okay, I had to get a new core for my alternator though so that really put a dent in the bank.

Let your car help with your budget.
The car is not very powerful, but it handles just fine. I think it goes fast enough. I really like small cars. If you like a small car, then this one is the best. You don't need to spend a lot of money on a hybrid when you can get a Geo Metro. If you're a better driver, you might get even better than 50 mph on the highway. It's really roomy, I can sleep in it on long road trips. The engine is smooth and not noisy.

This car is very good on gas and feels really safe for the size
I love how this car feels, its really fun to drive around. The gas mileage is great you can drive for days without having to stop at a gas station. However it is small so it feels a bit scary being so small, but at the same time it feels pretty safe and sturdy for the size. I've never had any problems with it that I needed to get fixed, nothing major that is. If you are good with the oil changes and upkeep this car will last you a while
