1994 Buick Estate Wagon - Best Car I Ever Owned
This Buick estate wagon has a V6 engine and lots of power! It's mechanically sound and has been extremely reliable; in fact, it's been driven across the country without a single issue or problem, and that's when it had about 130,000 miles on it. I have always felt very safe in this car. I like the way it handles and accelerates, and it's a very comfortable ride. There's plenty of room to stretch out one's legs, and the seats are electric so they can be easily adjusted. The gas mileage is pretty good too -- 25 - 28 MPG on the open road and about 20 - 22 MPG in town. I especially like the rare "5th seat" in back and the fact that I can put the back seats down and have almost as much room as a truck bed. This car is a great "grocery getter." Call me old-fashioned, but I like the s... (more)
Story
I once found two domesticated Chinese geese that someone had dumped along the side of the road out in the country. They were thin and very hungry and one of them had an injured wing so I decided to rescue them.
I found a woman who ran a bird sanctuary down in Montgomery, Alabama, (about a two-hour drive away), who said she would take the birds in, doctor the injured one, and then let them l... (more)
Pros
~ Has lots of power!
~ Comfortable ride.
~ Gets good gas mileage for its size and class.
~ All electric. Back window defogger and wiper blade.
~ Cold a/c and toasty-warm heater.
~ Brakes great.
~ Very reliable, no major repairs required.
~ Rare pull-up 5th seat in back
~ Even with the back seats up, there's still room for groceries in back.
~ The back gate has a glass in it that can be opened without opening up the gate itself. Both have "lifts" that make them rise easily and stay up till I'm ready to close them.
~ Luggage rack on top.
Cons
~ Would be nice if it got more MPG.
~ I don't imagine it would handle too well in snow.
~ It's kind of hard to find tires for it, though I have been able to with a bit of calling around.
1999 Buick Somerset Regal - An ok vehicle
The vehicle is decent vehicle does the functions it needs to well enough to be satisfactory and such. Their are several downsides though to the performance of the vehicle but their are a few positives to be had as well. So overall it is a decent dependable vehicle and while it is not perfect it is manageable.

Pros
The pros of vehicle are the size it is rather large nice and roomy with no issues. It is also got a good gas mileage and last pretty long so I can get long trips out of the vehicle with no issues. Which is wonderful and nice compared to a lot of other vehicles.
Cons
The vehicle does seem to sputter quite a bit and feel rather clunky during driving so it is not exactly a smooth. So it can feel bumpy uneven and overall not pleasant at all, so it can come off as not really effective to some individuals.
