Fun and family car
Great size to transport family and pets. Dependable, reliable and comfortable. My car has 280K miles and is still running good.

Irreplaceable
The Yukon XL was on the short list in our household as a potential replacement for our minivan. Our family has five members and a rather large dog, so we were looking for something roomy that was going to be very safe, reliable, and travel well. The 2006 GMC Yukon XL fit the bill, so we bought one used with about 100k miles on it. Almost three years later, now with about 170k miles on it, I still have no regrets and likely will never go back to a smaller vehicle. Apart from some minor repairs (A/C charging, daytime running light replacement), this thing is a beast and still rocks the same factory rotors. It is a real workhorse. It has taken us safely through snow and ice storms to 4WD-only parts of the beach and coastlines, to everywhere in between. Trucks have evolved a great deal from their work-only persona into a must-have for families that like adventure, or simply travel a great deal. You can't beat GMC's legendary ruggedness and reliability blended with creature comforts like built in XM radio, heated seats, moon roof, leather, and a DVD player.
