This car is 150,000+ miles. It still runs with very few flaws. I highly recommend this car because of its fuel efficiency as well. The car gets about 36 mpg for me. I have had two major replacements in the past years. I replaced the transmission (someone drove the car with the parking brake on) and replaced the radiator. I also replaced one valve in the engine. Otherwise, great vehicle. It has a moderate price for such a reliable car. Right now the car is 12+ years and runs well enough for me. Just have to stay up to date on routine maintenance. One flaw with this car is that it does have transmission problems as it gets up there in the mileage. I think that was the most commonly reported problem. I drove this vehicle 1000+ miles on my first trip to college. It had 150,000 miles on it and worked fine!
Pros
Durable, reliable, and long lasting. Good mileage, decent safety, and good price
Cons
Transmissions can develop problems later on. So can suspension

2001 Honda Civic - I've had this car for 14 years now and it's been the only car I've ever driven. Super durable. It has about 188,000 miles on it at the moment. I would recommend it to anyone.

I like the fact that it's super dependable and solid when it comes to wear and tear and mileage. I want a car that always gets me to Point A to Point B and this car does just that.
Story
There's been a few. One that sticks out the most though is when I took the car on a spontaneous overnight trip to Austin (from Houston).
Pros
It's dependable. Efficient. Reasonably low repair costs and occurrences. Never any major problems with it breaking down or anything.
Cons
There isn't too many negatives about it. I guess if I had to pick one... The dashboard lights sometime come up randomly but the issue is fine. For example - the battery light stayed on for a few days last week so I took it in to a auto shop. They told me everything was fine with the car and the battery and sometimes the lights just come on so people like me actually just get the car checked out.
