2013 Hyundai Genesis - Nice Surprise
My Hyundai Genesis has been a very good car. I've put 43,000 miles on it without even a single trip to the dealer for either a recall or warranty work. My "nugget" is that the only downside to this car is that it "flat spots" the tires even at the suggested rotation interval. Other than that the quality has been superb, no squeaks, no rattles, no trim falling off or fading, the interior still looks brand new as well as the exterior. There have been no issues with the electronics and the stereo sounds wonderful. It has all the features I required with electric and heated seats, electric windows, iPod compatible and thumb controls imbedded into the steering wheel. Pros
Horsepower, performance, IPod compatible, fuel consumption, styling
Cons
Tires flat spotted and are noisy even at the correct rotation intervals
2013 Hyundai Genesis - Amazing value.
Vehicle is amazing value for the money. It has the luxurious feel of a German vehicle and so far has had outstanding reliability. Its looks are not outdated, and the interior is simple enough to never feel outdated either. The interior is extremely comfortable, and for the money, it does more than enough considering the features. People never expect that is a Hyundai, so it never feels as such. The trunk pass is not wide enough for a snowboard, surfboard, or skis which makes things difficult however.
Story
Nearly every friend asks if we can take my vehicle to Vegas because it makes the road trip an absolute breeze. Quiet, comfortable, and can pass slower moving cars without any hesitation.
Pros
The top positive thing of this vehicle is absolutely the value for the money. It is fast, powerful, quick shifting, comfortable and quiet. Maintenance is nothing like that of a German car, and reliability has been outstanding. The cabin is extremely comfortable and quiet which makes road trips very easy. Trunk is a considerable size and provides ample room for items.
Cons
The top negative thing about this vehicle is that the seats do not provide very much support and feel very floaty. The leather is aging easily, and there are some cracks that make the interior feel a little cheap. The rear seats do not fold down which makes some storing difficult. The gas mileage is by no means good and be considered by some as atrocious. Other than this, I believe there to be no cons.
