All around good car.
This is one of the best cars I've ever owned, driven, or ridden in. Everything about it is just plain good: The steering is tight, it accelerates well, the brakes are responsive, the ride is smooth without completely disconnecting you from the feel of the road, and all the parts on the car have lasted a long time. The only problems I've had are the radio not working right anymore, a couple of the speakers have worn out, the clear coat is peeling -- all things that are easy to fix -- and the clutch wore out. After 15 years, those kinds of things happening is completely normal for a car, and the Tiburon has been far easier to work on than other cars I've worked on in the past.

Solid for price
The car is decent build quality. It has no rattles but the overall build is cheaper since it did not cost very much. The center of gravity is very low; there is decent room in the cabin too. Back seats offer very little for passengers as you have to basically have no legs to fit. Trunk space is surprisingly large for such a small vehicle. All console controls are plastic but nice to the touch. Default radio has no aux input nor Bluetooth capabilities. It performs really great. For such a small car (really lightweight), the acceleration is quite fast especially for the year and the brake time is above average. Turning can end up in under-steer for it is a front wheel drive car. Small steering wheel for a more movement based sports car. The manual version shifts are short throw and feel relatively notchy. The gas mileage is also decent but it has a small tank. When it comes to styling, it looks incredible. I once was asked by a little kid if it was a Ferrari. Long hood with high corners give the car a sporty feel. There are appearance only vents on the side to looks like gills. Tiburon means shark in Spanish anyway. I give the car 4 out of 5 bananas.
