My Jeep Patriot is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned! I love its sleek and smooth finish, rides smoothly with great performance for a small suv. I love how convenient all the buttons are on the inside and everything is at a great visual level for when I am driving. The Patriot has a great sound system, strong bass and well placed speakers. The Patriot is very reasonably priced for all the great features you get. I have not experienced any issues with internal material. I haven't had a single issue with any of the mechanical components. The Patriot has fantastic gas mileage for being an SUV at 32 MPG. Perfectly sized hatchback for my family of 4 and our dog when we travel. The trunk is large enough that my family and our dog took a trip out of town and we were able to fit ... (more)
Pros
The top pros for the Jeep Patriot is that it is stylish, but still looks like it can handle its own. Great look for male or female. Terrific gas mileage, well put together and a very sophisticated and pristine look on the inside.
Cons
My only negative about the Jeep Patriot is the center console, I keep a lot of odds and ends in my cars and this is the only one that doesn't offer much storage for any of those items. Its not very deep and tends to slide back on its own, it would be much better if it locked in place and was deeper.

The Jeep Patriot Latitude is really a pleasure to own. It hugs the road, something I wasn't expecting in an SUV. It also has four-wheel drive capability. I like the fact that it accelerates pretty rapidly. The interior is pretty no-frills, almost utilitarian in the way a lot of Jeeps are designed, but I don't mind this design. It actually reminds me of driving a golf cart.
Story
I don't really have a fun or memorable story as we have only owned it for two months, but I enjoy driving it and owning it!
Pros
The outside looks fantastic. When this vehicle is clean with the wheels washed, look out. Mine is a charcoal color with alloy wheels and looks sophisticated and beautiful. It has a tight turn radius and pretty decent sound system for a stock Jeep. I feel that the back is roomy enough for grocery shopping for a family of four. It isn't the biggest SUV by a mile, my Town and Country minivan actually totally dominates it size-wise just so you have an idea. But I don't think people are buying the Patriot to haul things.
Cons
If I were to name any negatives, it would probably be that I feel like I have more blind spots than my minivan or a car. When you turn back to look over each shoulder, that is the area where the visibility is not so great. You have to rely on your mirrors more. When you pull the gear into drive (on an automatic), it goes to the bottom but then slides left or right pretty easily to put you in three stages of the drive gear. I freaked out one day when it began running very high RPMs and would not change gears and it had...slid?....into one of these drive modes. Took me a bit to figure out th... (more)
