More fun than a Shelby
The Jeep is just so versatile and fun. I wouldn't buy a Lambo if it was the last car on earth. The quality depends on what you do with it. When I was still in high school, I never took it off road and was impressed with the quality. After high school when I started trail riding, I started breaking things, which is expected. The stock speakers are still going strong for 15 years old. Much of the under body has been replaced.

I absolutely love my Jeep!
I have a 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sport that I purchased used with 124k miles. I have had it now for a year an a half. The quality and dependability is outstanding. The 4.0L is a still a strong motor, even with the high mileage... nothing like that in-line 6. My previous Jeep (it was a Cherokee) had the same motor and I drove it for eight years before I traded it. My model is a 5 speed, which I love. I love the versatility of the Jeep. I have a hard top for winter and a soft top for summer. Cruising in the summertime with the top and doors off feels like complete freedom. On or off road and in any weather, it handles like a champ. The downsides are that is compact, so the 4 people that can fit are not very comfortable (next Jeep will probably be a 4 door Rubicon). Not real fuel efficient. I have had to replace the starter - but that would be expected in a 14 year old vehicle. All in all, I am absolutely pleased with the Jeep and will continue to purchase them in the future.
