I love my Kia Soul. It is the best car that I have owned in the past 12 years. It handles well and gets good gas mileage and has an awesome look to it.
Story
I love driving this car on long drives at night with the music turned up and the lights in the doors going to the beat of the music
Pros
Handles well Good Gas Mileage Fun look to the car Love the lights in the doors
Cons
Windshield cracked early on Kind of small for a midsize family

I really love driving around in my Soul. I am always aware of people trying to see if I have one of those hamsters enjoying the beats! What sold me, so superficial, but what the hell, are the interior lights. Multi color and really bright at night, but doesn't get in the way of driving. The ride is really nice, I love the pick up and go this thing has, and the turbo option (either with accelerated petal pushing, or using the extra stick feature) is too fun! The 2011 has some nice lighting on the outside too, though it doesn't come with the side view mirror lights. I believe I can get those special installed. But the rear lights are monsters. They cover nearly half the rear end of the car. Also, when the hatchback is open- easy chillin' just hanging out. I've been stuck places lately- n... (more)
Story
I bought my car in 2012 in April. By June my family had to go to a memorial last minutes all the way across the country. We could have sent one of us with our pooled money by air. But we went by car instead. That was one hell of a crazy week. Non-stop driving, roughly 8,000 round trip. And I was so excited that by the end of the chaos, my car was still purring.
Pros
Lights are huge. Those dumb cars that don't see me coming are plain stupid, or blind and shouldn't be on the road. So much interior space. I have been able to take myself and two other large adults with a cooler and luggage for all three of us on a one week cross country trip, and had so much room to spread out in the back. As we rotated driving shifts, one of us would take a nice long nap in the back...it's that comfortable. Also, on interior space, I have been able to transport 6 Ikea Billy CD cases- fully built. Inside the car. With all doors and windows closed. (It was only me inside, ... (more)
Cons
Well, I have a 2011, I think this is the first year it came out. Or maybe it was the 2010 was the first. Either way, there are some features the newer years have that I wish this had. I don't have LED lighting on my headlamps. I really am jealous of the 2014's with the LED's dotting along the bottom of the headlamps. I wish I had those. I don't have the LED lighting on the side view mirrors, or the blinkers on the side view mirrors. I seriously think all cars should come with that, as it is such a wonderful extra warning... get the heck out of my way! I've been drooling over the mixed Sun/... (more)
