Covers all the basics
It's a car with a lot of personality but is also pretty practical. It's got a good size and sometimes can feel even too big. The Plus is a good trim. It can get you up to speed fast and is easy on the gas mileage. The car moves pretty well for its somewhat clunky size, and the "Hamster Car" jokes die off after a while. Initially, upon my purchase, I was worried about the lack of an impressive branded stereo system, but I've been more than satisfied with how music and podcasts sound in there. The UVO that Kia provides is useless. It never works, and I never can use it when I would like to, but the Bluetooth and satellite radio works, so it makes up for it. I have the base plus model, so while the interior design could have been better (i.e. more expensive looking), you do get a lot of bang for your buck, and it's a great car for first-time buyers or younger teenagers. I have even had conversations with older or less mobile people who appreciate how easy it is to get in and out of. It is a hatchback, so the typical trunk space isn't there, but the space it does provide is ample enough, and the floor bed in the hatch comes up, so I keep important car stuff there, like jumper cables and interior cleaning materials. A good buy if you can get over the boxy design.

Reliable & Spacious
The car gets good gas mileage and is a reliable and safe family vehicle. I am amazed at how much stuff I can fit in the car despite its outwardly small look and frame. Good value for a good family car that gets point A to B.
