This car is definitely worth what I paid, and I will be buying another newer model when the time comes. I bought the 2005 midway in 2004. It was definitely a purchase I was scared of at first, and I bought a few of the packages. I really love how when the car is running you can barely hear it. It's going on 10+ years of owning it, but it still runs relatively quiet. The quality of the car is unlike any other I've ever experienced, and the amount of thought they put into designing and engineering the car boggles me. It's little things, like an incident when I had the brakes done (after warranty). They also replaced my windshield wipers and didn't put them on right. If this was another car, the whole windshield wiper fixture would have had to be replaced (yes, I had that happen befo... (more)
Story
When I first got the car, I went to get it washed at one of those robot washers. For whatever reason, my wife thought she could open the sun/moon roof while it was being washed. Long story short—what an expensive nightmare.
Pros
Well put together. Quality. I run my cars to the bone until I buy another. This one is still running great 10+ years later. Love the camera system. Durable.
Cons
Expensive components (i.e. tires are about $200 a piece to replace). Not very many cup holders. When the battery gets disconnected, the windows have to go through some kind of preset up (you hold down the buttons in the back and then press the one up front). If this is not done, you cannot operate the front controls to control the other windows. Petty, I know, but it's annoying when you need it.

The build quality of this car is the best I have ever had. It is spacious enough that I feel comfortable driving at least four other people, but it doesn't feel so big that I feel as though I'm driving a bus. The turn radius is incredible. I can easily get myself out of a bad driving situation if possible. It has great gas mileage, and I can get about 450 miles to the tank. Even though my car is 15 years old, the technology for the car is still pretty good quality, and I have an adapter that plugs into my phone for the auxiliary. The interior is leather and is great quality, despite so many years of wear there are no signs of distressing, and there are no signs of stains either. I think this car is extremely reliable, and I have never once had any problems with it, even with it being a... (more)
Story
One memorable story with my vehicle is when I took it to the drive in movies. It was so fun to open up the hatch and watch a movie out the back.
Pros
Steering/turn radius, gas mileage, durability, long term wear and tear, size, interior, exterior look.
Cons
Sometimes the brakes take a lot of force to press them.
