This car has been beat up, almost completely destroyed, dragged through the mud for an insane amount of time, and remains a luxury vehicle that I get compliments on. Almost two hundred thousand miles and I've had almost no issues with it except for routine maintenance. In 2010, I had an oak tree fall over on the back half of it, very nearly totaled. No signs that this thing is going to die anytime soon.
Story
Again, I had an oak tree take out the back half of my car in 2010. That was about 120,000 miles ago, and I still can't even believe that happened with no future issues.
Pros
Luxury interior, the leather has held up really well. The drivers side has minimal wear on the armrest, but even that was fixable for a very low cost. It has never needed to be repainted. Also, it's a 2006, so it has a CD player and a tape deck. Which is great, I actually still have a couple tapes lying around and to get to use them is a luxury in itself. Again, it is going on 200,000 miles, and I've never been stuck anywhere. I had the battery die on me once, but that was an issue I created. Honestly, this car is so well built that I'm going to have a hard time with the cons.
Cons
It looks like a suburban mom car. It is almost definitively that. But that is easy to get over when you realize how dependable it is. And people think it is expensive, which it was not at the time. So, I'm not going to complain about that.

This was my first "luxury" brand I've bought. Despite the numerous problems with it, including non-functioning power locks and power steering failing after a few months, I spent a good amount of time and effort into restoring this. It was my first time buying and actually driving a luxury car. Everything was smooth, and I definitely love the design. Nice small SUV for small families. I'm single, but love to take friends out on a road trip from time to time. Parts replaced were that of original parts, and about a month after all restoration, everything still holding up well.
Story
Only fun/memorable story I have was actually purchasing this vehicle. It was the only "luxury" brand in the area, and people quickly took notice of it.
Pros
Smooth ride, nice (non-dated) design.
Cons
Mileage is poor and trunk space is a bit small.
