I like the Mazda brand in itself. The cars especially the sedans are very good cars and last a very long time. I did not have to do much maintenance on the car and the usage I got out of it was great. I had over 300,000 miles on the car and it was still running great. The only problem I had with the car was that I always had to use manufacturer's parts on the car otherwise the performance of the car was greatly compromise and this could cost a bit more to maintain.
Story
I always take care of my car by maintaining it and keeping it polished and clean so I always get compliments on how I keep my car.
Pros
It had excellent overall handling on wet roads and handles corners very well. I also like the braking system which I only repaired twice in the time I had it. The sound system in the car was surround sound and I always had good reception. I also like the seats which could be adjusted very well to my body seeing that I have very long legs. I also had an extra external mirror to cut down on my blind spot.
Cons
As I said before I could only use the manufacturer's parts in the car or else the way the car handles the road is compromised. and I did not like the fact that it automatically locks on itself on exiting or entering the car because this could be a problem if I left my keys accidently in the car.

What can I say about the Mazda 626 LX from 2002? It was my daily driver for over 4 years and it performed great as basic transportation. The only upkeep on the car for the first three and a half years consisted of routine maintenance. Oil changes, air filters, etc. The build quality of the interior is very reminiscent of just about every early 00's American entry level built. Although the 626 is a Mazda, one would think Japanese, but no. The car was built in America at a time when American cars still had big gaps in the dash. Rattling plastic panels, and uncomfortable cloth upholstered seats. The outside of the car itself is not unique in any way. It is downright boring. It's one of the many four door sedans you see drive by on a daily basis and pay no attention to. The lines aren't s... (more)
Story
Driving up to Maine from South Florida before the motor mounts broke. It was an amazing road trip and that car surprisingly made it.
Pros
Didn't call attention Reliable Aluminum Rims Low mileage Previous owner took care of it Inexpensive tires Relatively decent on gas Easy to clean (silver) Automatic AC vents Cheap replacement parts
Cons
Ugly No sunroof Manual cloth seats Not enough horsepower Not enough space in rear seats Transmission shifts rough Spends more gas than it should Small trunk space for a sedan Sound system is way below par Loud inside cabin at higher speeds
