We purchased this car because we liked having the option of a third row. Even though we don't use it often, we like knowing it is there and we can haul a bunch of people. When we aren't using the third row, the trunk is huge. Having a huge trunk is great for going on vacation or bringing your pets along. We weren't sure if we would use it and we sure have. We were concerned about going through gas more quickly given how much bigger the car is than our previous one. We are spending more money at the pump, but because the car has a larger tank, we don't find ourselves having to stop for gas more frequently than we use to. The car drives great. We do a lot of driving on small mountain roads and it handles the curves beautifully. It is big, but it doesn't drive big. It is responsive and ha... (more)
Story
First day I drove it, I was on a dinky mountain road and it started snowing. Hard. The car was fabulous and I felt very secure.

My car is liquid silver which is a great color - not too dark or light. The interior is black and very sharp looking. The car handles very well and is a smooth ride in the front, 2nd row and 3rd seats. For as big of a vehicle it has no problems taking turns and you don't feel like you're going to rollover. It has great acceleration and can stop fast very well. It doesn’t have great gas mileage, but for the size and amount of people these types of cars hold I think the gas mileage is acceptable. The interior has a lot of compartments for storage, the seats move back a forth very smoothly, and the console is very easy to use. For a sports type car and having 3 rows of seats the leg room is very comfortable. The car has all the fun features from touch screen, heated seats, rear window wip... (more)
Story
Well with 2 kids in rear facing car seats and a dog. We have managed to pack the car to capacity in lots of ways. Shopping for the house the car has been packed full and even had stuff on the roof and out the gate. It really handles a lot of stuff on top of passengers.
Pros
The color is great, liquid silver. It hides so much dirt and bug splats. The lights are nice and bright for night time driving and love that the rear window has a wiper and cleaning spray. The car is very smooth driving and accelerates fast. The seats help in the winter with keeping you warm. The air is distributed around the full car evenly. The interior is nice and soft and very easy to clean. The seats in the rear all fold up very easily and the 2nd row seats move very smoothly - not a lot of arm work needed. The car has a lot of storage in the very back for tools or random other things... (more)
Cons
The problems I have encountered with the car is the liquid silver does show scratches as white lines. I have noticed holes (cut out type, maybe where a feature in a higher trim should be) under the rear brake light above the window. The rear window doesn’t open. The middle seats still have a tight fit between the front with child car seats in rear facing positions. The 3rd row is very hard to get into with a child car seat in the 2nd row because it doesn’t slide all the way forward. The open door warning isn’t displayed in the middle above the radio like other Mazda cars and it's very hard... (more)

I purchased this vehicle because it had a third row. I have two kids and three dogs, so having ample amount of room was very important to me. I wanted a vehicle that had some "get up and go" and could also be efficient and economical with gas. I like that this car has just that. It doesn't break the bank every time I have to fill it up, but it is a six cylinder so it has some speed. This car has a great sound system and a sunroof. Another must have I was looking for that this car has is rear air conditioning. With having any type of vehicle it is important to have air vents the rear passengers can control and use.
Story
me, my mom, dad, brother, and son all packed into this vehicle and took a trip up north. We had fun all being together.
Pros
This car has a third row and leather seats. There are three cigarette outlets which is practical for a family who needs to do things such as watch movies and charge cell phones at the same time. The seats in this vehicle are very spacious. As a mother of two young children in car seats, it is critical that I have enough room to comfortably fit both car seats and still have room for other passengers. One major pro this car has is his and her air control. Often times my husband and I like different temperatures so this feature is very desirable. I also love the fact that I can adjust the se... Cons
One negative thing about this vehicle is that it doesn't specify which tire has low pressure. There is an alert that sounds when the pressure is low but you aren't told which tire is low. For a mother that is always on the go it would be convenient to know so I could just make a stop and fill that specific tire up.
