I liked the V6 engine it had. The engine was just strong enough yet saved a bit of gas. The cab had four seats but only two doors. The vehicle was similar to a Ford Ranger. I had the vehicle for years. The truck was dependable.
Story
I ended up driving it down creeks and bayous. I have taken it on many hill climbs.
Pros
V6 and cab size.
Cons
Suspension and steering.

I bought the truck to use when I go hunting. I was not expecting a Cadillac ride. It is an older small body pickup, and it probably has seen better days. The engine runs good, the 4 wheel drive works as it should and I am very happy with it. I am able to do all the things I want to with it. Even after all these years, it had been taken care of. The body is straight as the day it was made. The original paint still looks decent. The interior held up after all this time also. I couldn't ask for better. It is still good on gas. The body is sturdy as there are no major shakes, creaks or anything else distracting while I drive. Even in 4 wheel, the engine still runs smooth, the transmission shifts smooth. As far as used vehicles, this truck is the one you want to find. No major mechanical is... (more)
Story
Everytime I take it out, it is fun. I am a country boy, and we know how to have ball with 4 wheel drives!
Pros
It won't cost as much to repair being as old as it is. My fav feature is the 4 wheel drive.

I will start with the cons and the number one con is, my truck is older so its getting harder to find parts for it. The second con is that since my truck was so old I had to do a few things to bring it have it serviced such as replace the ignition switch. I had to replace the rotors because they could no longer be turned and operate safely.
Story
taking my girlfriends kids 4 wheeling in the mud, they always screamed and laughed so loud when we would start bogging down and gas it up to crawl out and the rear end sliding was big thrills for those boys. we used it to go camping all the time and it held all our gear tents coolers even our own firewood for the night.
Pros
It only cost me $900 to purchase this truck. The 4 wheel drive wasn't abused and was running perfectly. It was cheaper than a newer model vehicle to be insured. It is a great truck to use for hunting as any damage I might do to it didn't matter. To fix it parts were still cheaper than a newer models would have been. The previous owner kept records of maintenance. The previous owner kept the truck in good condition. Besides a little fading the factory paint was still in great shape. I was able to keep the truck for 8 years after I bought it. The engine stood the test of times even with the ... (more)
Cons
Had to replace those rotors.
