My whole life, I was an SUV/crossover person. Even when I was 17, I got my very first car which was a Honda CRV and since then I would drive nothing else... that is until I found my vehicular soul mate, the 2003 Mazda B-3000 (Sport) pick-up truck. Besides lasting even after my boyfriend drove the hell out of it for years, this truck is not only the most reliable vehicle I have ever seen or driven but it is also the easiest and most fun to drive! To this day I continue driving my old pick-up truck for work, across country, and to the dirt bike track... of course with 3 dirt bikes loaded into the bed!
Story
I remember one time the train was coming and my boyfriend, who was driving like a maniac, and I were on our way to meet our friends at the airport before they left town but we were running super late. As the arms started to come down and the lights started to flash at the railroad crossing where we turning, my boyfriend decided to put the pedal to the metal instead of stopping. I began to shri... (more)
Pros
Compact but still feels roomy, with small seats that fold up/down in the extended cab. Longest-lasting vehicle, even when it's being driven into the ground. Bed has enough room to fit up to 3 dirt bikes.
Cons
Catalytic converter went out and since there are 5, it was insanely expensive to fix.

A good reliable vehicle. Fits a family with little kids. Enough space to put groceries in the half cabin. The lines and design make it look elegant and up to date. You can carry heavy stuff in the bed. The bed liner it's really strong plus protect the vehicle from scratches. The rails on the side make it easy to secure big stuff that you might carry or buy. Good vehicle for off road. The suspension and the tires make it ideal for trips close to nature. Amenities are a must from satellite radio to power windows and power locks. A utility truck with class and elegance. It's fun and easy to drive. Low maintenance. Good stability on the road and off road. Comfort and style all in one. Good price for the vehicle and repair costs are low hardly any.
Story
We couldn't take the spare tire off the lock and we didn't know that the key they gave us when we bought it was to open the lock. We broke the lock off and later realized there was a key for it.
Pros
It's reliable. It's easy to drive. It's affordable. It's comfortable. Elegant
Cons
Gas mileage. The bed is not very big. Stick shift. Cloth seats.

Bought this truck in 2002, and it has been the most reliable and trouble-free vehicle I've owned. I've had to fix the A/C and replace the clutch and radiator, but all other systems are rolling along fine. Ride is bouncy and stiff, but that's only a problem for my rear passengers. Road and wind noise is pretty high compared to our family sedans, but this is a commuting and work vehicle. Wish the A/C was more reliable.
Story
No memorable stories, but it's been very faithful in getting me back and forth to work, over 250,000 miles so far.
Pros
Got the truck new as an end of model year bargain, intending to use it for bare-bones commuting and light hauling. I'm happy with its performance and durability. Gas mileage is good-enough.
Cons
Rough, bouncy ride, and the A/C has needed work several times. Cab is noisy from wind and road noise. Tends to be under-powered when climbing hills.
