I love my truck
I bought the truck to use when I go hunting. I was not expecting a Cadillac ride. It is an older small body pickup, and it probably has seen better days. The engine runs good, the 4 wheel drive works as it should and I am very happy with it. I am able to do all the things I want to with it. Even after all these years, it had been taken care of. The body is straight as the day it was made. The original paint still looks decent. The interior held up after all this time also. I couldn't ask for better. It is still good on gas. The body is sturdy as there are no major shakes, creaks or anything else distracting while I drive. Even in 4 wheel, the engine still runs smooth, the transmission shifts smooth. As far as used vehicles, this truck is the one you want to find. No major mechanical issues to speak of. I did have to replace the ignition switch, and the headlights. I keep it maintained on a regular basis because I want to get my $900 back in usage, and I feel I have already passed that mark, but why not keep a good thing going? If I had the money for a new vehicle I might have went that way, but I cant think of anything wrong with having such a older model. It is also cheaper to fix than new vehicles so that is always a plus.

Think twice before buying discontinued vehicles
First and foremost I should point out that when I purchased my Mazda B2300, it was the first time I was financing a vehicle. I was working with a very small budget. Based on this, it was an absolutely fine truck for the price, and my needs at the time. It didn't have much power, but gas mileage was good. There was only one previous owner who maintained it well and put in a spray on bed liner as well as an aftermarket stereo. By far, the biggest downside was that the truck, as well as the comparable truck (Ford Ranger) had been discontinued, making it difficult and/or expensive to maintain or repair.

Durable, light-duty, pickup
I bought the truck from a used vehicle lot, and the price was pretty low for a small pickup. The dealer was a crooked SOB, but the truck has been ideal. It has required very little maintenance and has suffered almost no downtime.
