The 2009 Mazda 6 iSport, is a very dependable vehicle. It never gave me any problems that stressed me. With regular maintenance you should have no issues with this vehicle. It drives smooth even after 100k+ miles unlike some vehicles I've owned in the past. I've replace an 02 sensor and a mass air flow sensor starting at 99k my check engine light came on. I couldn't pass inspection because of it. The sensors only took 15 minutes to change though. The headlights, don't even attempt to try and change them at home. For that you'll need to go to the dealership or ruin your plastic on the bottom of your car. Clips hold it in place and the headlight I angled where it's hard to reach. I've only received one recall on it and that was for the door. After 5 years it got heavy and a screw fell of... (more)
Story
Grocery store trips with my spacious trunk.
Pros
I loved how at 125k I have never had any major problems with the vehicle. The car runs smooth as the day I dove it off of the car lot. I would very much consider buying a new Mazda once I'm ready and tell all of my friends about my great experience.
Cons
The only thing that I didn't like was the interior isn't the best of quality. My seats faded quickly and my dash got sticky with the sun. Another con is that I've had to replace an o2 sensor and a air flow mass sensor when my check engine light came on.

I currently own a 2009 Mazda 6. I purchased this car used and have not had any issues with the car. I do routine maintenance. The only negative thing I can really say about this car is that it has a 4 cylinder engine and sometimes it doesn't have the get up and go that I have had in other cars. The only other thing that I don't love about the car is the color of the interior. It is black and in the summer it gets very hot. What I love about the car is that it's really cute. I also love the keyless entry and keyless start. I love not having to get my keys out of my purse when I run in and out of work or the store. The color is silver and I love it. I have had other colors on cars before that were much darker and they showed the dirt all the time. I really like the seat warmers. I get re... (more)
Story
All of my nieces and nephews love this car. All of them want to ride with me whenever they come to my house to visit. The most fun I think I've really had was handing the keys to my 16 year old nephew and letting him take me for a ride.
Pros
1. Keyless entry 2. Keyless start 3. Seat warmers 4. Color 5. The way it drives
Cons
There aren't too many. 1. The 4 cylinder engine 2. Interior color - the black gets really hot in the summer

We purchased this car new in 2001, after owning a 1987 Honda Accord (purchased new) previously. We sold our 1987 Honda Accord (with over 200,000 miles on it) to the neighbor for a very nice price--because Honda's retain their value, even allowing for the high mileage! The Civic is smaller than the Accord, but really comfortable, and very economical to drive. We average over 30mpg freeway and 28mpg around town. There's over 150,000 miles on our Civic and we travel long distances in it without worrying about it breaking down and leaving us stranded. The back seat lays down and this almost doubles the space in the trunk. We make sure it has regular maintenance performed on it, using the guide in the owner's manual, and we've never had a breakdown. It uses no oil and has never had any leak... (more)
Story
We nicknamed our car 'the Silver Bullet' because a) it's silver in color, and b) it's quick to accelerate. Whenever we get ready for a trip, we tell people we're taking the Silver Bullet for a ride.
Pros
Excellent gas mileage Low Maintenance cost Comfortable seating with plenty of leg room front and back Exterior Paint and interior carpet and upholstery holds up well over the years Nice styling Competitively priced Great value for the money
Cons
Radio reception is poor in unpopulated areas (i.e., driving across the desert in New Mexico or in open range areas of Texas).
