The 2009 Mazda 6 iSport, is a very dependable vehicle. It never gave me any problems that stressed me. With regular maintenance you should have no issues with this vehicle. It drives smooth even after 100k+ miles unlike some vehicles I've owned in the past. I've replace an 02 sensor and a mass air flow sensor starting at 99k my check engine light came on. I couldn't pass inspection because of it. The sensors only took 15 minutes to change though. The headlights, don't even attempt to try and change them at home. For that you'll need to go to the dealership or ruin your plastic on the bottom of your car. Clips hold it in place and the headlight I angled where it's hard to reach. I've only received one recall on it and that was for the door. After 5 years it got heavy and a screw fell of... (more)
Story
Grocery store trips with my spacious trunk.
Pros
I loved how at 125k I have never had any major problems with the vehicle. The car runs smooth as the day I dove it off of the car lot. I would very much consider buying a new Mazda once I'm ready and tell all of my friends about my great experience.
Cons
The only thing that I didn't like was the interior isn't the best of quality. My seats faded quickly and my dash got sticky with the sun. Another con is that I've had to replace an o2 sensor and a air flow mass sensor when my check engine light came on.

I currently own a 2009 Mazda 6. I purchased this car used and have not had any issues with the car. I do routine maintenance. The only negative thing I can really say about this car is that it has a 4 cylinder engine and sometimes it doesn't have the get up and go that I have had in other cars. The only other thing that I don't love about the car is the color of the interior. It is black and in the summer it gets very hot. What I love about the car is that it's really cute. I also love the keyless entry and keyless start. I love not having to get my keys out of my purse when I run in and out of work or the store. The color is silver and I love it. I have had other colors on cars before that were much darker and they showed the dirt all the time. I really like the seat warmers. I get re... (more)
Story
All of my nieces and nephews love this car. All of them want to ride with me whenever they come to my house to visit. The most fun I think I've really had was handing the keys to my 16 year old nephew and letting him take me for a ride.
Pros
1. Keyless entry 2. Keyless start 3. Seat warmers 4. Color 5. The way it drives
Cons
There aren't too many. 1. The 4 cylinder engine 2. Interior color - the black gets really hot in the summer

I like my car overall because it's a great deal for what you get. Under $30,000 four door mid size sedan that looks good and has enough horse power and ability to still power through the yellow lights with the best of them! I have the black with silver trim. Always get compliments and told that it looks like a luxury car. Gas is amazing! On one tank I get over 400 miles and cost me about $30-$35. Smooth ride and quiet inside. Came with a pleather interior which matches the color scheme. Sound system is great with the Bose audio sound system I don't have any reason to do any upgrades! Also im 6'2" and there's plenty of room. Also had some sweet 19" rims - no lame hub caps.
Story
My first road trip was to Fresno from Sacramento then to San Jose and back to Sacramento. All on one tank of gas. Cost $30-$35 a tank - makes it easy to travel.
Pros
Good gas saver and mileage, looks great and stylish, drives well, fits 4-5 and still comfortable for everyone in every seat, fun to drive, has enough power to not feel slow, came with some good upgrades. Looks like a higher end luxury car but not for the price. Get compliments all the time on its style.
Cons
Tough to say because overall very happy but I would have liked it to come with navigation instead of me having to add on for more money which I choose not to. I prefer wider tires as well but I understand it's a smaller vehicle compared to my trucks. As well I would have liked the HID headlights which I would have had to pay for and chose not to.
