The Mazda 6 is a great car! It gets good gas mileage while still having a lot of pep. It is sporty but has a lot of leg room and a massive trunk for a smaller sedan. The Mazda 6 handles great too!
Story
Last year in the ice, we had to get out and get gas for the generator. I was worried about how the little car would do in the ice and snow. She handled great, so well in fact that after getting gas we took her into the vacant parking lot across the street and had our own icecapades!
Pros
The are many positives about this vehicle. It is very comfortable, the seats just feel like they are meant for you. As mentioned it also gets great gas mileage. It has a lot of pep and my model has the slapstick gear shift that is great for passing. And the car style is very attractive visually. This car, when equipped with good tires, also handles beautifully in rain and snow.
Cons
The only cons to the vehicle are that it was under two vehicle recalls. Both recalls were taken care of quickly and efficiently, but they can be inconvenient.

Overall, the car has been a good car. I purchased it used with 40,000 miles, and now it has 112,000. I haven't had any mechanical problems at all with the car. However, I do keep it up and change the oil every 3,000 miles. Mechanically, it is a good car, but the interior seems to be cheap. The plastic hold for glasses broke, and I don't even use it. Both mirrors from driver and passenger sides have broken. This was used very little. The car has had several recalls on door latches, airbag, sticky melted dash and others. I don't like the black interior, but the exterior looks sharp and is metallic-looking blue. I do like the car. It is large enough to carry five people easily, and the trunk is good size as well. I have driven it on vacation several times with no problems, and t... (more)
Story
A couple years ago, we drove the Mazda to Tybee Island on vacation. The car did great, and on the way back, we drove through bad storms the whole way. The car held to the road through the heavy rain and had great traction with the traction control on. We felt safe driving it through the very bad weather.
Pros
Nice-looking car on outside. It is excellent on gas and drives like a go kart, if that makes any sense. In other words, it handles very well and is easy to drive.
Cons
Negative things about the car are the black interior. It is very hot and shows every piece of dirt. inside plastic seems to be cheap and several pieces have broken.
