I have own this vehicle since I purchased it as part of a 'program vehicle' sale. I purchased the vehicle in 2005 with less than 4,000 miles on it and have put a little over 123,000 miles on it since. It is extremely reliable as I haven't experienced any major repairs and it has been extremely easy to keep the vehicle maintained. It has enough room to travel with additional luggage and supplies and it rides extremely well on many long trips I have taken across multiple states.
Story
I have driven the vehicle through the mountains many times, and even managed to get lost and stuck in the in the mountains many times. Running low on fuel, and no cell signal for GPS mapping there have been a few times in which I have parked at a observation point and just waited to watch the sun rise.
Pros
A great dependable truck that has lasted me for many years, has sufficient horsepower to pull a enclosed trailer. I have used the flex-fuel option on the truck many times while out in the mid-west. The added flex-fuel option is something that many other auto makers have only recently offered. It gets great mileage both on the highway and in the city using traditional gasoline. The trucks interior is modestly appointed, making it much roomier, and continues to look very good.
Cons
I definitely would have liked the option to have an additional 3rd door. It would make loading and unloading the vehicle much easier. The mileage when running on ethanol could be improved, as you see a drop of about 10%-15% in mpg.

This is a dependable, resilient, smaller truck. Some shorter ladies might find the step up to the cab off-putting, but it works for me. No major problems with the vehicle, only some minor cosmetic issues that did not appear until well into its useful life: snapped trim, fading and peeling of the steering column, driver side seat belt issues and tail light replacement. Again, these issues only appeared at 10+ years into the useful life. This has been a great vehicle, good for bringing the dog along and hauling flea market finds. It has also been very good on gas for the commute. Reasonable replacement parts and easy to service yourself. This baby is still kicking and will be into the foreseeable future. Comparable to the Ford Ranger and therefore very easy to find used parts, at least a... (more)
Story
It is the perfect size to take the large dog around town.
Pros
Price, durability, lack of major issues over long life
Cons
Cons only appeared after 10+ years of use: driver side seat belt issues, peeling and faded steering wheel, snapped trim on the cab

Love this vehicle. It's a solid reliable vehicle. Interior is pretty basic, a lot of "plastic" but not built for pretty. It was built for tough work. Has a long extended bed that is great for moving, transporting large objects. It is great on gas and insurance is cheap. Mainly I use it as a back up. And it always does the trick. Every time I drive it, I question why I don't use it as a primary vehicle. The trim on the vehicle is all very basic but still makes a nice added touch. When I bought it, it had a blown head gasket. After that was fixed (due to a previous owners neglect) it ran like a top and has ever since. Also, very easy clutch.
Story
Getting to work in the snow. It's rear wheel drive, but "she" got me to work. We did quite a bit of sliding. :D
Pros
Great motor, definitely reliable. Use it as a second vehicle and it always starts and gets me from point a-b. Very basic vehicle on appearance because they spent more time/money on the motor!
Cons
Again, this truck is not built for pretty. It's built for using. There is nothing flashy about it. A/C does not work, stereo is basic, seats are hard, and dash is hard plastic. It's a bit hard in the turns due to its boxy shape. Also not great on gas, probably because of aforementioned boxiness. Still a great truck, though. Motor is tight and she always runs. Also, interior lights are dim and so are dash lights.
