Best bang for your buck.
Best bang for your buck in terms of power to cost (at time of purchase at least). So much fun to drive and so versatile with the hatchback design. I can load it up and go camping or I can accelerate quickly to feel the rush. Nothing feels better than the oncoming power of a turbo kicking in. What's really nice too is that I can drive it easy and get fairly decent gas mileage. Have never had any issues with the car at all. There also seems to be a good aftermarket out there if you wanted to modify the car at all. Overall, 10/10 would buy and drive again.

Awesome ride
The Mazda 3 is a sporty looking car with great speed and good gas mileage. It has a five speed engine which is great for those who prefer the power of a manual transmission but can only drive an automatic. I like the way it is rounded in the back for that sporty look. The radio controls on the steering wheel are very convenient and the blue lighting of the front panels makes it very easy to see.
The maintenance on this vehicle has been cost effective and really after four years I have only had to replace the battery in addition to its regular oil changes, tires, etc. The only con here being that the plastic undercarriage rips easily and drags a bit until it needs to be ripped off.
Overall, the car drives beautifully, its fun and sporty, the acceleration is great and the brakes work quickly as well. Its great to travel in and a great purchase overall.

Fun, versatile, good value.
Love this car. Have never had any reliability issues with it at all. It gets decent gas mileage (if you can control yourself from mashing the accelerator that is). For the money, it has some of the highest horse power (HP) you can get. The engine and transmission are both strong and reliable (Mazda builds some great budget gearboxes). Having the hatchback really makes it versatile. By putting down the rear seats, I have been able to haul a ton of stuff. I have the blue color, which pops and gets a lot of attention from people. Looks wise it's great too, but Mazda could have done better with that front bumper. Having the turbo is really fun, though of course turbo lag causes it to kick in at around 3500 rpm. Can't avoid turbo lag, though. Build quality is good, too. Nothing has broken on me on the inside, though the steering wheel leather is fading due to the sun. All the other leather is fine, though. The car is a bit loud on cold starts, but it doesn't bother me and gets much quieter after warm up. One annoying thing I have noticed is that the spoiler is not attached very well and rattles in cold weather. I have been able to fix it with two-sided tape, though.
